Droughtman's Challenge Returns!

After another of his famous excursions, Droughtman has once again returned home to his dark and mysterious labyrinth. Armed with a new set of tricks, he eagerly awaits the brave adventurers from across Elanthia to join him for this year's festivities.

Loaded with a trove of new rare items that he acquired during his hiatus, Droughtman formally invites you to take on his Challenge! Will your pathfinding skills lead you to victory, or will the dark labyrinthine walls prove too difficult?

Droughtman's Challenge Begins Tonight

Think you have what it takes to beat Droughtman’s Challenge? Put your pathfinding skills to the test in the pitch-black corridors of Droughtman’s Maze!

The Rules Are Simple

Upon entering Droughtman’s Maze, players will abandon all of their personal possessions and will be provided a survival kit containing a random melee weapon, a random ranged weapon, a random piece of armor, and a mysterious blue wand. Your goal is simple: traverse Droughtman’s Maze, find a golden key, and escape through the golden archway before time runs out.

The Maze Is Treacherous

Filled with dead ends and even deadlier traps, traversing Droughtman’s Maze is no easy task. And this time, several key aspects of Droughtman's Maze have changed:

  • Every character will be able to use every guild spell, ability, or feat available to that guild while insid the maze.
  • Shields given to your character are now all small sized.
  • You can now hide inside the maze.
  • The white levers have been removed.
  • The white door now leads directly to the winner's room, and your prize is placed in your hand.
  • A black door has been added, you can use this to exit the maze immediately and be awarded 5 indicia and one incidental prize.
  • A bug was squished which sometimes required you to remove and wear your items again to activate their special properties.

The Prizes Are Magnificent

During his time away, Droughtman found and bartered for many exciting new items that he knew would make perfect rewards for his Challenge. These new prizes include things like:

  • New Unique Weapon Instructions
  • Portable Almsbox For Tithing
  • Breaking & Entering Cooldown Removers
  • A Set Of Living Flare Armor

And as usual, win or lose, everyone who participates walks away with something awesome!
