A lantern hanging from the center pole gives off an amber light that lends a dusky sheen to everything -- and everyone -- within the bearhide walls. Esoteric and marvelous shapes and designs crawl over the entire inner surface, guiding the eye from one wonder to the next in a dizzying journey of the imagination. The cloying scent of jasmine and sandalwood wafts from small oil burners while long wooden benches, intricately carved with whorls and sigils, offer a place to sit and avoid most of the smoke. You also see a tent opening and a posted catalog.

A lantern hanging nearby throws a warm amber light, projecting a dusky sheen onto everything in sight within the bearhide walls. Plastered art and designs are displayed, showcasing past and present works. The wafting scent of sandalwood blends with that of jasmine emits from small oil burners, and long wooden benches provide seating away from the smoke. You also see a leather flap and a posted catalog.

A narrow cot, draped with a hand-knit wool blanket, rests against one wall next to a rough wooden table covered in small jars filled with a medley of different colored inks. Tea lights fill the room and give the space a gentle glow. In one corner a large ebonwood table takes ominous form, a leather restraint hanging limply from the wood.
