Category talk:Organizations
Would this be a good page to link on the front page? You can reach the Player_Organizations down at the bottom, and you can get to most of these from other sources, but I don't see any direct link to the Category:Organizations listing from the main page, Player Orgs, NPC's, etc.
Also, would it make sense to have sub-categories for all race-clan's? So in addition to Dwarven Nations, Gnome Societies, etc. there would be Elothean Houses, Elven Clans, Human Clans, etc. (not sure how the S'Kra Mur, Gor'Tog, Prydean, Rakash, Kaldar & Olvi group up, would need more information).
Finally, do we want Player_<race>_<clanname> categories for all the different races as with the Elf & Elothean ones? I'm happy to make them, but don't want to go to town if there isn't enough definition in them to use (or interest).--Kythryn 18:31, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
I think it's a good for ones there is definite information on, but that's my personal opinion. Also, like I said on the All Seeing Eye page, I don't know that we should include "clans/houses/etc" that we've been told players can't join (unless that ever changes) but the only two I know of that would definitely fit that category are All Seeing Eye and Bone Elves (also including the "dead" Elothean Houses, Marching Lotus and Black Fang, or Glittering Diadem - which is also one we've been told players will not get to join [though I suppose you can claim it but you won't get very far]). --Ysselt 21:29, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- I thought about that too (not being able to join IG) but went ahead and added them here for now. Way I figure with Elanthipedia is that anything here is really OOC anyhow, so like you said, someone can claim here they are in the Marching Lotus house, but if they try to carry that IG, the Ferdahl would just have them committed for mental issues...heh. That being said, if someone decides to go crazy with their family history and one of those 'characters' they RP as having been in one of the dead houses, they could add to the pages. I'm not committed to having the pages active though, and won't miss them if they get deleted. --Kythryn 01:02, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
