For constellations, do we want to add two more items to the template? Additionally do we then want to clean up the rest of the information on the page that has moved to the template?

Level learned & telescope required?

I think that would be a good idea. I would also suggest a field for the general time of year: spring, spring/summer, summer, summer/fall, etc. Its not strictly necessary because of the exact dates field, but it would be in the interests of completeness since many in-game abilities refer to them rather than the exact dates.

Also, some of the constellations are still listing the archaic Offense and Defense as skillsets rather than the modern Weapon and Armor skillsets. I'll let you adjust them since I don't want to horn in on your project and you may already be aware of it and are planning to do it in conjunction with other updates.--Evran 19:31, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Dropped some changes into the template, it's not quite as pretty as I'd like (hopefully someone with more knowledge can fix the alignment). I've changed the Adder (constellation) entry for now and will wait for feedback before doing the rest. --Hithrael 21:56, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I like how that looks. All the vital info is there, but there's a couple things I'd like to see if possible.

• The color of sphere it creates when cast with Starlight Sphere.
• Subcategories at the bottom broken down by season and skilset. This would allow the entries as a whole to to be more of a starchart resource rather than just an individual constellation resource.
• Alternately, create a 'Starchart' page with a sortable table that has links to achieve a similar effect. (I can do this myself to share the burden if its decided this is the preferred option.)
• A field for just the season. The dates are nice to have and necessary, but its far easier to tell at a glance approx. when a constellation is up by looking at just spring, summer, summer/fall, etc. if the exact dates aren't needed.

I think a starchart might be the cleaner way to go. I think it's almost at the verge of cluttered as is.

Definitely agree on having a broad season (any magic way to make that happen with just the dates plugged in?).

I'll give the SLS some thought, although with the spell eventually disappearing, it would be more of a legacy item.

Might do a quick reorganizational sketch for the information to have it flow more logically.

Okay, I'll work on the starchart table later today. I think right on the Category:Constellations page will work. I don't think there's a way to automatically add the season based on dates, sorry. Its going to be one of those tedious manual entry things, I'm afraid. ;) I'll leave it up to you to decide what to do with the SLS colours, but I think the sky is getting rewritten itself anyway so other things might end up being legacy anyway.--Evran 14:18, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Updating w/ new template

Hi Caraamon,
