Description: The Bear Strength spell requires channeling mana streams, and draws on the power of the beast for which it is named. The more mana held in a localized stream, the more powerful the spell's results.
Example Messaging: You scent the air and turn your face towards the deepest wilds, reaching with your senses for the spirit of the bear...

Suddenly, your body is rocked forward as an immense weight strikes you from behind! You feel a wave of strength wash over you, filling you from within. The bear's spirit has heeded your call!

You arch upwards and outwards as your body sings with newfound strength, letting out an immense roar of primal might!

You feel like you could toss a Warrior Mage's small familiar across the Oxenwaithe River with one hand!

You feel like you could arm wrestle a rock troll!

You feel like you could wrestle a running horse to the ground.

You feel like you could bend a broadsword.

You feel like you could dent heavy plate mail with your bare fist!

You feel like you could pull the fangs out of a thicket viper!

You feel like you could squeeze the life out of a giant leucro!

You feel like you could juggle snowbeasts!

You feel like you could dismantle a stone gargoyle with your hands alone!

Message for adding 5 mana:

Your body sings as more strength surges through you, the bear's spirit within growing more powerful as you harness more life energy to your purpose!

More strength surges through you in response to the extra mana!

Your blood quickens as even greater strength floods through your body in response to the extra life energy you have called upon!

Notes

  • For every 5 mana held, Strength and Stamina are increased by 1 point each. May require higher magical skill to gain the Stamina effect.
  • Can be strengthened by harnessing additional mana after spell is cast. Spell must pulse (happens once every few seconds). Bonus points can be lost if mana drops below a multiple of five.
  • Caps at +15 to both stats, 75 mana held.
  • Can not be used in urban areas.
