Description
You see Warlock Aules MacUlrik, Arcane Lord of Elanthia, an Elf.
Aules has an angular face, slightly pointed ears, sullenly glowing blood-hued eyes and a freckled nose. His red-streaked black hair is short and fine, and is worn in a tousled, finger-combed style. He has pale skin and an athletic build.
He is short for an Elf.
He is young for an Elf.
He has a tattoo of blood red scales cresting the middle of his back, emphasizing the bones of his spine. Beginning narrowly at the waist, the scales gradually widen as they spread up to run the span of his shoulders. Black scorch marks brand the skin surrounding the pattern as if the flesh were being burned away to reveal a serpent beneath that rests its head on his neck.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a silvered chain balaclava, a tailored jacket cut from red-pinstriped black silk with blood-red ruby cufflinks, a black nightsilk duffel bag clasped with a small silver skull, a tattered shoulder bag crafted from random patches, a dark black leather knapsack with a skull and crossbones clasp, an amber gold buckler, some wickedly spiked knuckles, some mail gloves, a platinum ring bearing the crest of the Warrior Mage Guild, a platinum and ruby ring, a serpentine band of sana'ati inlaid with blackened fire opal scales, a sigilated platinum ring, some sleek red-pinstriped black silk slacks, and a pair of onyx dress shoes adorned with silver buckles.
Early Life
Not much is known about Aules' dwarven mother, Morven MacUlrik. However, due to accounts from her awe-inspiring brother Uilleam MacUlrik we do know that Movren was visciously brutalized by a beardless Elf of which Aules was a abhorrent consequence of.
Aules was born on the twenty-third day of the first month of Akroeg the Ram in the year of the Golden Panther, three hundered and thirty one years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer. Soon after birth, excluding Aules, Movren and the rest of the MacUlrik family had a meeting about Aules' inability to grow a beard. Mortified, Movren returned home where she died in shame of her sons wretched curse.
If it were not for Uilleam MacUlrik and his wife Deoiridh it is possible that Aules would have been an orphan his entire life.

When Aules moved to the province of Zoluren and the city of Crossing, he met a young Empath by the name of Breydon. Soon after meeting they started courting. Aules grew very fond of Breydon, even though Breydon was slightly abusive, and asked his hand in marriage. Shortly after the proposal, they were wed happily and bought a space for living in the Dormitories at Gealeranendae College in Theren. There, Aules persued his love of magic among many other activities.
One day, Aules left Breydon at their home to go hunting in Ker'Leor. When he returned Breydon was no where to be found. Aules searched day and night for his beloved but always ended up at a dead end. Heartbroken, Aules couldn't stand to be in his home because every item in it reminded him of Breydon so he moved back to Zoluren to continue his search which ended fruitless. Aules then divorced Breydon for abandonment in hopes to get some peace in his life. From time to time, those who have gotten to know Aules will tell him that they have seen Breydon, but Aules takes it as a cruel joke and never listens to them because he knows that it isn't true.
