#REDIRECT Elanthipedia:Manual_of_Style
RTOC
This Manual of Style lists the accepted styles for the naming, presentation, and standardization of various types of pages. Please consult it if you are unsure as to how to do your page.

At the moment, this is a work in progress and represents the current ideal for pages. Any disagreements or ideas for improvement should be taken to the talk page and editing posponed until it can be commented upon.

Items
Whenever possible, items should use existing templates for standardization.

Page Titles
NOTE: This section of the style manual is under discussion on the talk page and has not been finalized

Page titles should be the full name of the individual, both first, last, and any indicators of rank (senior, junior, the third) as necessary. It should not include titles, such as baron or lord, nor should the main title include nicknames. When at all possible, avoid making pages for two individuals, even if they are closely related.

Redirects
When they are unique, redirects should be present for the first name alone, as well as any well known nicknames or titles ("The Reedemeer" for example). In the rare case where the first names are not unique, disambigous pages should be set up.

Categorization
Each page should be entered into the proper category for the NPCs race (or placed in :Category:Unknown Race when unavailable), subrace (River Elf, etc), guild (known and applicable), any group affiliation (such as Moon Mage Sect), and shop owner if applicable.
