Zhendil's Emporium
A portable sorting table with compartments full of sparkling gems seems out of place in this musty room, with its walls and ceiling that look held together by cobwebs and wasp nests. Oiled paper tacked over one window frame creates a makeshift covering that blocks not only the elements, but also most of the light. Two barrels offer seating near the counter where the gem dealer does business, and a ceiling lantern casts a glow whereby he is able to judge the character of his customers. You also see a group of men playing a game in a corner and Zhendil.
