Time Development Points (TDPs) are used to increase attributes (mental and physical strengths such as strength, intelligence, agility, and so on), as well as other things such as buying new spell slots and forgetting learned spells.

In order to use TDPs to raise a stat, one must go to a designated room for training that particular stat and type TRAIN. They are typically found within or near major cities.

A character is given 600 TDPs right out of the Character Manager. After that, the only way to gain more TDPs is by circling or obtaining new ranks in skills. You earn one TDP per 200 rank sum not including the ranks you get when you join a guild. The sum is as follows, you get the first rank in a subject, that's 1 added to the sum. you get another rank in the same skill, that's 2 added to the sum making it 197 more you need to get a TDP instead of 198 (1 plus 2 is 3, 3 from 200 is 197). We call this the TDP pool and when the pool goes over 200, it goes back down to below 200 in 200 increments and gives you TDPs relating to how many times it had to go down below 200. If your pool is currently at 3 and you just gained rank 597 in some skill, 597 is added to the 3 making it 600 and you will gain 3 TDPs and your pool will be at zero. If you had 50 in the pool and then got to rank 599, you'd gain 3 TDPs and your pool would be at 49.
