Strange Events

Reality ripples all around you, as if melting and reforming. Colors wash out and fade into tones of brown and grey, while shapes turn into curious caricatures of each other. After several befuddling moments, color returns once more to your sight, but you are struck with the disquieting sensation that everything has been changed indelibly. Worse, despite this, your mind registers that everything around you is all how it always has been.
