Because a Dance form does include continued physical activity to keep your heightened focus, the hinderance from armor will continue to impact the power of a Dance.

Jaedren and I were just speaking a few minutes ago about starting a Dance in water. At this point, we're tentatively leaning toward allowing a Dance to be started anywhere, but the deeper the water, the more it'll restrict the Dance. However, I haven't looked at the technical limitations or options available, so I repeat that that's a tentative plan. Along those lines, though I have the bug reports still, I haven't had time (and with the coding freeze coming soon, I won't have time for awhile) to look at the interaction between Dances, encumbrance, and the "You feel your focus shift." messaging.
