Passive MR among PCs going away as a mechanical Thing. If you want to resist magic, you'll need to actively use an ability or spell that provides the resistance.

Passive MR is still an IC thing, but considered inconsequential for actual magic use -- something that's massive will still mildly resist the flow of magic, but not so much so that there's actually a problem casting a spell in a tight tunnel or something.

Undead and extraplanars may or may not retain some form of MR due to their nature (both as bizarre inhuman things, and as NPC monsters). Dunno yet.
