So, taking a generic broadsword... I am seeing a 30% increase in slice damage between the T4 and T6 versions.

Now of course the difference will be much less between a T5 and T6 piece of equipment. However, T6 equipment will always be better in every stat than T5 equipment (it just might not be visible on the appraise).

Keep in mind that adding just a small amount of damage or protection can sometime be the difference between a hit that does damage, and a hit that glances. Armor takes off both a % and a flat amount. This is why light edge/blunt/thrown weapons can sometimes suffer quite a bit. They just aren't able to overcome the flat reduction. But once you get past this the world becomes a happy place ;)
