| Demons in this game share very little visual symbolism with what a fundamentalist Christian is going to think of when she says "Satan." The two themes they tend to follow in DR is either some sort of eldritch shadowy nightmare, or something Giger-esque (http://www.hrgiger.com/)
Concepts can share a lot of visual distinction with demons (a fact that keeps some Moon Mages up at night), but all jokes of Cthulhu aside they tend to focus more on abstract forms. Divine life can, more or less, look like whatever the hell it wants within the limits of its nature and individual power. Being at the top of the food chain has its advantages. | |
