A pickaxe is a mining tool.

See Crafting Tools or Mining for details.

Usage

  • In mining, it is the quicker of the two tools used to extract materials from the rock (the other being the shovel). To do so, simply hold the pickaxe in one hand and MINE.

Creation and Repair

Pickaxes can be created using forging techniques that fall under the Blacksmithing discipline.

Likewise, their repair falls under the same skills, with standard processes for metal tool repair.

Templates

This crafting tool derives its potency from the material's hardness.
(Low carbon steel was used for the durability cap, and high carbon steel was used for speed cap.)
