Appearance

You see Mastermind Jalika Tenretni, Stealing Savant of The Locksmith Union, an Elf. She has pointed ears and silver-flecked dark eyes. Your black hair is long and straight, and is worn tied back in a thin braided tail. You have smooth skin. She is short for an Elf. She is an adult. Her shoulder has a tattoo of a great shadowed forest with countless eyes peering from the darkness.

She is wearing a dull serpent earcuff, a dark steel torque, a grey sharkskin backsheath, an animite spider-clasped baldric, a dark suede lootsack, a gloomwood khuj with a dark purple blade, a loose-fitting cotton shirt adorned with silver knotwork embroidery, a platinum ring with the crest of the Ranger's guild set in black diamonds and jade, a dark gem pouch, a metallic lockpick ring, a spidersilk tote, a platinum-brushed black ironwood spellbook case engraved with a rampaging dragon, a pair of low-slung leather wrangler's breeches, a rugged thigh bag, a simple quiver and a pair of soft soled leather sandals.

History

Jalika left her farmland home just north of Kaerna Village as soon as she was sure she could be accepted into a guildhall. Traveling on foot to The Crossing, she quickly made inquiries as to the Rangers Guild and joined their ranks.

She worked for many years studying mostly under Kalika's watchful gaze and became an avid swordsman, but struggled with several bouts of sickness. With a few years of relative health behind her most of her empaths believed she was in the clear but she took a turn for the worse and found herself walking down the Starry Road. Though some believe it to be a hallucination, she believes that Damaris met her along this road, and promised to return her to Elanthia if she would help take care of children and the young she met along the way.

Swearing to this agreement, Jalika woke to find herself near a streambed, somewhat changed, but very much alive. She immediately traveled north to the town of Langenfirth to speak with Tolle and began her journey with the Rangers once again. Picking up his favored bow, she worked harder than ever, focusing on the arts of archery, sleight of hand, and elemental magics.

To fulfill her promise to Damaris she began a small group of Rangers called The Band, who use "aquired" goods and wealth to support the studies and well-being of young ones just starting out in the guild. She also became a sister in the Locksmith Union.
