When these were first purchased, I seem to recall an empath wore one onto the field, got hit on the head, and the circlet was destroyed instantly. It made them a bit less popular because they were destroyed so easily and 100 plat kronars was quite a chunk of money back in the day. --Sircha September 22, 2010
