STUDY (Non Moon Mage)

The bronze token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Not being such a mage, you're fairly certain you couldn't activate such a device.

Were the bronze token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Base Description: "a serpentine Shadow Servant"
 Long Description: "a serpentine Shadow Servant composed of countless banded snakes"
 LOOK Description: "Only the differently colored eyes of the shadowy snakes differentiate one beast from the next.  Guided by a coordinating intelligence, they manage to form the writing arms of the Shadow Servant."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.

STUDY (Moon Mage)

The bronze token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Being such a mage with knowledge of the spell, you could INVOKE the bronze token to reshape the shadows that form your servant. The changes would take affect at its next summoning.

Were the bronze token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:

 Long Description: "a serpentine Shadow Servant composed of countless banded snakes"
