Amethyst and onyx beads make up the body of the dragon, while eyes and teeth are made of ruby and ivory. By design, the dragon's wings are worked along the cloak's full sleeves such that when the wearer's arms are lowered, the wings would appear to wrap slightly around the dragon's body. If the wearer's arms were raised, the dragon would appear poised for flight. Two faceted rubies fit together to form a stylized flame clasp.

The black cloak is pocketed, and can be opened and closed.
The black cloak is fairly soft.
It appears that the black cloak can be draped over the shoulders.
