- STUDY: Though the tyrium earcuff appears ordinary enough, it's said that to merely rub its surface can inpart greater understanding to its wielder. You remember the previous owner telling you that the tyrium earcuff can be used approximately every 12 hours, but its effects only last for 30 minutes.
- RUB: You brush the surface of the earcuff, triggering a sudden flood of new knowledge as a greater understanding of other languages fills your mind. It's too much, too fast! Ow!
- RUB (on cooldown): You brush the earcuff's surface with your hand, but nothing happens.
- When it wears off: The lingering knowledge of other languages leaves you completely.
Unlocks
Applying a potency crystal increases the duration of the language knowledge effect by 30 minutes, up to a maximum of 2 hours (120 minutes). Once reached, additional potency crystals will reduce the cooldown length by 12 hours to a minimum of 1 hour.
