Halasal-osrel

Halasal-osrel are given to children on festive days, "Sea gifts" are little "bundles" of tsann mixtures wrapped with fish skins then flashed-fried to bind the "gift", thus giving a hot crispy exterior to a cool sweet center. It is a traditional Merelew food.
