i don't know yet how syntax-wise, but i could see this done by changing the link that clicking on it to point to another image of larger size, it's original dimensions were based on my main monitor, which is 1900X1200, not exactly ideal for web usage. another thought would be (again, i don't have the coding knowledge to make it happen) have it remain a single high res image, but force it to use a smaller space on the page, ie have the browser itself compress the image. the second option would slow the download though, since it's going to be a somewhat larger file. i'll take a look into both methods, and also see if i can find another place that has a high res picture being accessed, while a smaller version is displayed initially.
