Corals are marine invertebrates that typically form compact colonies of many indentical individual polyps. Their many colors give it appeal for jewelry and once harvested, is considered a precious mineral.
Traditional lore among the River Elves holds that coral, the shells of thousands of tiny sea creatures, is a symbol of strength and unity. It is the birthstone of children born in the month of Lirisa, the Archer.
