Vaguely human-like, the botuk hei's ears seem to have grown to the size of spread hands at the expense of its eyes, which are almost buried under thick white fur. Its cheeks have retracted, leaving its mandibles projecting under a wide-nostrilled nose. Its limbs are grotesquely long and twisted, each arm ending in a hand tipped with five long claws.
