thickly scaled dragonwood theorbo with aldamdin tracery
Look: Made of scaly dragonwood, this theorbo has been decorated so that the untreated dark bark has been left all along the back giving the instrument a rough feel. The dragonwood on the face of the instrument has been polished and smoothed, and the scale-like grain of the wood traced with thin skeins of aldamdin, giving even more of a contrast to the dual bogbirch pegboxes. Within the upper pegbox, several small darkstone tuning pegs have been placed while the lower, larger pegbox has orichalcum tuning pegs.
