Sand Pit

The pit is a favored location of Emapths when they spend more time that usual because the red leeches in the Sand Pit, when you tend them off they teach an Empath Empathy, Mechanical Lore, Animal Lore and First Aid. For non Empaths instead of teaching Empathy you will learn skinning. There are two different species of leeches that live in the Sand Pit. The Red leeches are found in the northern part of the pit while the Black Leeches live in the Southern part. It is recomended that anyone with less than Expert levels in First Aid stay away from the Black leeches.
