| Look: | Slender, unassuming platforms of Ilithic applewood are arranged in a semi-circular pattern, gradually rising to spiral like a delicate staircase of low steps. The simple wooden slabs are left unadorned, though obvious care was taken in shaping and lacquering them. Falling from them in uneven lengths are minuscule wires of moonsilver, each hosting an array of tiny orbs of different sizes, designed to shiver and twinkle as the instrument is struck. |

The elipon is formed of graduated wooden slabs arranged in a semi-circular pattern. The slabs rise gently in a curving spiral, circling the torso of the player. This instrument can be worn with a strap, or more often, placed upon a table or other solid surface before the musician, (or Eliponin'i) and struck with small wooden or metal mallets. This instrument was believed to be the product of a famous Elothean Musician from the House of Silk Strings. Roundtime: 2 sec.
An instrument mallet must be held in order to play while worn.
