First released in the Wildspire Hollow Cottage with Tuesday Tidings #349.

Wildspire Hollow proprietress Ivysol has developed a careful preservation process that allows the distinctive green-black pelt of a snarlvine fox to retain the woody vines naturally woven throughout it. While the delicate blossoms and leaves cannot survive the treatment, outfitters often replace them with silk foliage and small clusters of opaque pastel crystals, honoring the layered appearance of the original growth.

Common Description

The green-black fur is tipped with pale silver and threaded with slender bark-brown vines that remain firmly anchored throughout the pelt, their bare, woody branches accented by verdant silk leaves and small opaque pastel crystal flowers.

Alteration Rules

This material is required for alterations.

The vines are not required to remain and can be decorated as desired, so long as the adornments are clearly inanimate. Can also be called snarlvine vixen fur/pelt/hide. It always retains its green-black fur and coloration, as it produces poor smooth leather and resists all attempts to dye it.
