Hollow Eve Tournament 458
The Hollow Eve Tournament (458) is a 3v3 PvP Tournament continuing the Praxium Tournament Series in the wake of the Hollow Eve Tournament in 2025.
What: A small group 3v3 tournament that anyone and every is invited to participate in, leading to one winning team. The opening rounds will be played in a Swiss format, and after the Cut we will utilize single or double elimination rules, number of teams depending.
Where: The Wyvern Arena, in order to maximize the ability for all interested parties to participate on as even a field as possible.
When: Monday nights throughout the month of November (11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23), concluding before the HE Auction. The bouts will start at 9:00PM Eastern on these evenings.
Why: For fun, and for platinum!
What are the prizes?
The second annual Hollow Eve Tournament has a series of very generous donors step up and provide platinum for the winners.

Teams placing 4th through 13th will each receive 10,000 plats for participating in the Tournament, as a "thank you" for the fun that they provided and for spending money at the Festival.
What are the rules?
- No duplicate guilds on a team.
- One contestant per player. No multiple alts, and no participating on more than one team.
- No reapers, bees, cow totems, frostdrums, flamelutes, sparklutes, or automatons.
- No in-fight HEALME usage.
- No usage of WATCH.
- Wands are fine.
- Each fight lasts up to 10 minutes or the opposing team is eliminated, whichever occurs first.
- Should the round go to time: wounds, vitality, and initiative will be used to determine a winner by a panel of known judges.
- 10 minutes of pre-fight preparation will take place between fights. This time is to be utilized for buffing, coordination, etc...
- All buffs must be put up in the Arena after the pre-fight preparation clock has begun.
- Participants can only receive from themselves and their teammates.
- i.e. No buffs/predictions from 3rd parties.
- Gyres, if they are used, must be empty before the pre-fight preparation clock starts. They can only be filled with spells by you/your teammates on the Arena floor.
- Your lowest stat cannot be less than 50% of your highest stat.
- i.e. If your highest stat is Wisdom at 120, your lowest stat of Charisma has to be at least 60.
- Once you are on the Arena floor for pre-fight prep, no returning up the Ramp until that fight is done.
- i.e. If you blow off a limb during your pre-fight preparation by casting excess Sorcery, better herb up or have an Empath teammate heal you. You cannot return to the Observation Room for healing.
Penalties and Disqualification
- A character that vitality logs, disconnects, or is sent to the junk room must remain out of the Arena for the rest of the current fight.
- A character that shows up more than 30 seconds late to a match is disqualified from the current fight.
- A character that arrives at the Arena Floor already buffed (rather than buffing during the prescribed pre-fight preparation window) is disqualified from the current fight.
- A second instance of this infraction will result in disqualification from the Tournament.
- No interacting with the opposing team (except for banter) once arriving on the arena floor prior to the match beginning.
How will teams be constructed?
Interested individuals will work with other players and form groups of 3 before contacting Rakkor or Warbrolus via Discord DM or chat in-game with the following information:
- Name of their team
- Participants on their team
- Guild of each participant
If you are interested in participating but do not know who to build a team with, utilize the #pvp chat on the Official Discord or in-game gweth/chat in order to source allies.
How will seeding and matches be setup?
Rakkor and Warbrolus will work together to ensure random seeding for the first round matches. Results from the prior three tournaments will be utilized for first round pairings. From there, each team will know their opponent in advance. If you faced an team in the prior round, you will not be matched up with that team again in the subsequent round unless there are no other available teams.
