Crossing Cemetery Combat Competition Request for Prize Donations

Please submit prize donations by July 22nd, so I can announce the set of prizes prior to tournament registration closing

I'm running a PvP tournament! Prizes will not be in plats - instead, I'd like to use the prizes to showcase what members of the DR community have to offer one another. So, if you have something you'd like to offer, please donate a prize!

I intend to give out ~10 total prizes, and would like folks to have 12-15 to choose from so that everyone who wins something has a choice and hopefully gets something they're excited about. If all goes well, I hope to run multiple tournaments a year with similar sorts of prizes, so there's lots of space to try stuff out!

Some of these prizes are likely to go to characters who are highly skilled with players who have a lot of PvP experience. Others are specifically intended to be winnable by folks with less skill/practice/gear - feel free to offer prizes interesting to either of those groups! There's not pressure for the prize to be something useful to folks who already have everything - and similarly, there's plenty of space for the prizes to just be RP fun, because...some people have everything.

If you're interested in donating something but aren't sure what, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to help you come up with some ideas.

Guidelines:

• I am unlikely to have plats available to compensate donors for the time/materials/costs of whatever they offer - please only offer things you're able and willing to fund yourself.
• Offer something that you'll enjoy doing/giving, if it's chosen - but won't be heartbroken if it's not chosen. It's 100% fine if this is something you'd be glad to do anyway if someone would just ask. Asking is hard, and sometimes people don't know you do the thing!
• Be clear about what you're offering. If you're crafting something, be clear about what materials you're willing to work with and what you're able to make. If you're offering personalized shopping advice, be clear about the sorts of things you're skilled at (and interested in) shopping for. If you're gonna offer food, but it's all gonna be fish-related, say that. Give people enough detail to know what they're getting when they choose!
• It doesn't need to be something that appeals to everyone - just something that will be awesome for someone. Winners will get to pick their prize, in order. If they don't want what you're offering, they probably just won't choose it.
• You don't need to be the best person in Elanthia at whatever it is you're offering! If you want to offer something and have questions about whether you're 'good enough', feel free to message me.

Possible Examples (though, if there's something that suits you better, please don't feel constrained by this list - it's just for ideas):

• A trader with a shop, willing to offer credit to your shop and a private shopping time
• A particularly fashionable person, wanting to accompany folks on a shopping spree through the trader plaza or Hollow Eve (especially if you have some plats to donate to fund the shopping spree)
• A crafter, willing to donate materials and time to a custom commission for the winner
• A bard/songwriter/playwright willing to write and perform a piece about how awesome the prize recipient is
• An artist, willing to capture a portrait of the recipient (either in game as a text portrait, or out of game as visual art that the winner can have)
• An experienced Pvper, willing to offer practice sparring and/or coaching to the recipient (and their friend(s)?) for an hour or two
• A party planner, willing to throw/host a party for the prize recipient
