This service includes four sets of messaging:

  • what players in the same room see when you log in (max 200 characters):
  • what shows up in the global Arrivals window when you log in (max 100 characters)
  • what players in the same room see when you log out (max 200 characters):
  • what shows up in the global Arrivals window when you log out (max 100 characters)


The global messaging is generally a simplified version of your room messaging. The messaging should be less “visual” in nature and should make sense in the context of a global announcement. For example:

  • Login (same room): Clad in fragrant floral garlands, a pair of frolicking donkeys escort [Player] into the area.
  • Login (global): The braying of donkeys heralds the arrival of [Player].
  • Logout (same room): Clad in fragrant floral garlands, a donkey arrives, dragging a sleepy-looking [Player] toward the nearest inn.
  • Logout (global): A donkey drags [Player] to the nearest inn for some well-earned rest.
