Compatibility

A live merchant can add the gweldgold script to nearly any unscripted, unenchanted item, including cambrinth. Its primary function is to add a line to the item’s look that describes how the gweldgold appears in the ambient light of your room, although there are a few fluff verbs (clench, raise, rub, turn).

Gweldgold can only be customized by a live merchant. (These settings are not compatible with scrolls.) These items can, however, be altered via scroll if the design does not require any changes to the settings.

Customization Options

Shades of Gold

You can customize one or more of the shades of gold, although all values must be shades of gold, and they must be ordered from lightest to darkest.

Shade Lighting Default Shade
1 dark room pale gold
2 outside at night (no moons) luminous gold
3 outside at night (moonlight) aurulent
4 indoor room gold
5 outside in the daylight (overcast) dusky bronze
6 outside in the daylight (sunny) umbral bronze

Component

By default, the messaging says that the “gweldgold manifests … [color] luster.” But you can change “gweldgold” to something else, such as a part of your item. (The messaging can be pluralized for plural components like buttons.)
