Harvested by the sea-dwelling Merelew, pearlhide is taken from the thick outer membrane of giant deep-ocean clams found near submerged limestone ridges. Pearlhide is a supple marine leather with a smooth, fine grain and a soft luster reminiscent of polished nacre. Its pale, silvery surface carries subtle iridescent tones of blue, green, and purple, making it lightweight yet durable for garments, accessories, and decorative inlays.
Introduced during Hollow Eve Festival 454.
