[General] Your mind hears Asildu thinking, "The rain is really coming down."
[General] Your mind hears Qetu thinking, "it really is"
[General] Your mind hears Betlind thinking, "I've been wondering when it was going to let up."
[General] Your mind hears Tirost thinking, "Nothing wrong with a little rain when one's allies are elements, right Asildu? How have you been?"
[General] Your mind hears Asildu thinking, "A bit better, I think."
[General] Your mind hears Asildu thinking, "The rain is fine, I suppose. I prefer indoors these days anyway."
[General] Your mind hears Asildu thinking, "It's been some time since I last visited Liani's."
[General] Your mind hears Ectheleon thinking, "I love the rain. Nice feel when you're taking a nap in a tree."
[Liani's Heaven, Taproom]
Light shimmers off the honey-colored wood that composes the low-roofed but expansive taproom of Liani's Heaven. A bar curves from one end of the tavern to the other, its surface polished to a high gleam by tankards and plates slung down its surface by the Halflings behind the bar.
Zfora says, "Why, hello Asildu. It's been so long and you seem so... normal."
Firehawk Casari just arrived.
A soothing melody plays across the area near Asildu, each soft, tranquil note seeming to aid in maintaining his calm.
Asildu asks, "Normal?"
Zfora smiles at Asildu.
Mountain Lord Ezerak just arrived.
You notice as a fuzzy black sun bear with patches of golden fur lumbers into the room.
The sun bear begins to watch the goings on carefully.
Zfora says, "In relative terms."
Asildu runs his hands over his face.
Casari says, "Asildu? You look different."
Asildu nods to Casari.
Ezerak nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.
Ezerak says, "I was just thinking the same."
Asildu says, "I think the destruction of the artifact may have done some good."
You see Primal Memory Keeper Asildu, Avenger of the Spires, a Herald-marked Scholar resembling no known mortal species.
Asildu has a misshapen crag of a face, thin vine-like tendrils wrapping up his neck and around his moss-green eyes. His nose is bruised, recently set, and spiders with cracked stone. A shriveled wreath of tangled overgrowth covers his head. His skin is cracked, wound with vines and moss that cling to flaking stony features.
Asildu is of middle-age for a Human.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a carved jade dragon with gold-inset eyes, a cambrinth dragon charm, a linen tunic layered under a leather vest, a scholar's satchel, some amber linen pants and a pair of distressed leather shoes.
Casari nods in agreement.
Asildu says, "I was worried it was a long shot."
Life Weaver Ysilda just arrived.
Casari asks, "Does the connection feel any different?"
Asildu nods to Casari.
Shield of Starlight Betlind just arrived.
Lowering her head in reverence, Betlind takes a step backward and bends into a formal bow.
Tiakim appears in a ripple of light and shadow.
Tiakim gets an enormous whiskey bottle of dark green glass from inside his duffel bag.
Asildu says to Casari, "It's not as weakened as I would like, but it definitely feels... lessened. To some degree."
Knight of Meraud Tirost just arrived.
Legendary Cleric Mazilyn just arrived, leading her group.
Tirost nods to Asildu.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Casari says, "Sounds like a good start."
Asildu says, "It gives me hope that the plan might work, once I recall more details on further artifacts."
Asildu nods to Tirost.
Asildu says, "I still have to be cautious, though. I can't linger in any one place around anyone for lengthy spans of time."
Casari asks, "Do you remember if they all seem as... malicious as that one did?"
Asildu says to Casari, "That one was particularly malicious."
Betlind frowns.
Betlind gives a slight nod.
Casari says, "That's promising, at least."
Asildu says, "It's a weapon off the board, so to say."
Casari gives a slight nod.
Tirost smiles.
Tirost says, "That sounds like good news."
Mazilyn asks, "Ya remember what it did?"
Qetu just arrived, leading his group.
Qetu nods politely.
Betlind smiles at Tirost, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Betlind nods emphatically at Tirost.
Tirost smiles at Betlind.
(Mazilyn scoots over by Asildu and listens intently to the melody)
Asildu says, "I was never able to deduce exactly how it worked, but I was able to deduce what it was, and the power it contained."
Tirost joins Betlind's group.
[General] Your mind hears Valynn thinking, "You have the right of it there, Ectheleon."
Asildu says, "At the time, I assumed it was a good thing, since I believed the Heralds were the right ones to wield something of that nature. Now... not so much."
Tirost nods to Asildu.
Asildu says, "I'm trying to think of the best way to describe it... in terms of your Immortals."
Betlind cocks her head.
Casari says, "I was curious, but I didn't delve into it. The moment it was confirmed as the artifact, I tried to destroy it."
You get an odd feeling that someone is watching you. It quickly passes.
Asildu says, "By removing that artifact from their possession, think of it like... removing Firulf's staff."
Asildu says, "But from the Heralds."
Qetu raises an eyebrow in Asildu's direction.
Strawberry Nurse Illiya just arrived.
Mazilyn covers her mouth with her hand.
Tirost nods.
Mazilyn says, "Thats a big no no."
Mazilyn giggles.
Ezerak asks, "Something that powerful?"
Asildu nods to Ezerak.
Betlind hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.
Tirost quietly asks Illiya, "Glad you made it. Can I trouble you for healing?"
Illiya hugs Betlind, who wraps her arms around Illiya with a warm smile.
Asildu says, "The Heralds don't make weak weapons."
Illiya lays her hand on Tirost's arm.
Illiya lays her hand on Betlind's arm.
Betlind bows to Illiya.
Tirost says to Illiya, "Thanks, Illiya."
Illiya smiles at Tirost, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Casari says, "And the three of them together, at that."
Asildu says, "Thanks to you all, that is one less weapon they can use in the fight."
Stars' Silence Kystrk just arrived.
Mazilyn asks, "Were you able to think of any others that ya visited?"
Qetu nods to Couri.
Asildu says, "I'm sorry I wasn't able to talk more that night. I suspected the Heralds would be displeased and on guard, which is the last thing I need them to be with me if I'm around any of you."
Tirost shakes his head.
Mazilyn nods.
Tirost says to Asildu, "You acted wisely."
Casari asks, "Does it seem like they're sufficiently distracted?"
Tiakim puts his bottle in his portable bar.
Casari says, "I was kind of wondering if there are any others like you... bound to the Heralds and forced to their cause."
Asildu says to Mazilyn, "Not just yet. But I've been spending a lot of time trying to recall as much as I can of those days. I thought it worthwhile to come out and at least follow-up on the last one, however."
Stars' Silence Kystrk drifts west.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Asildu says to Casari, "I've waited long enough that I think I have a few roisaen, at least."
Mazilyn gets a jungle-green notebook with a tooled leather cover from inside her pristine white purse.
Mazilyn gets a sleek fishtail oak writing quill tipped with a long baby blue plume from inside her pristine white purse.
Asildu says, "They're quite focused on your Immortals, but that doesn't mean they won't notice my actions if I'm not careful."
Betlind nods emphatically.
Asildu says, "As some of you have seen."
Asildu shudders.
Illiya looks with concern at Asildu.
A soothing melody plays across the area near Asildu, each soft, tranquil note seeming to aid in maintaining his calm.
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "The Immortals are quite focused on them as well, if the visions Truffenyi' prophet has shown us are to mean anything. it seems like war."
Sir Madigan just arrived.
Asildu nods to Qetu.
Tirost snaps to attention and hails Madigan with a crisp hand salute.
Illiya bobs a quick curtsy to Madigan.
Madigan raises his hand in a quick salute.
Madigan smiles warmly.
Betlind smiles at Madigan, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Couri nods to Madigan.
Madigan gets a long-handled cup of strong coffee from atop a highly gleaming bar.
(Mazilyn makes some squiggly notes, scratches them out and makes a dotted wavy line that flows similarly to the melody)
Madigan takes a sip of his coffee.
Qetu asks in an Ilithian accent, "Was any information gleaned from the bell or it's remnants, as to what it might have been?"
Asildu says, "All the more reason for me to try and remember the artifact locations. Anything of the Heralds we can remove from play can maybe aid your Immortals."
Tirost nods to Asildu.
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "It's sad from a scholar stand point it was not studied more."
Asildu says to Qetu, "Studying it is how I ended up as I am."
Asildu says, "I don't recommend it."
Qetu nods to Asildu.
Betlind chortles softly at some secret joke.
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "Ever the burden... or curse of knowledge."
Casari asks Asildu, "Are there others like you?"
Asildu idly runs his hand over the tangled overgrowth atop his head.
Asildu says to Casari, "I don't think so? I'm not even sure anyone else ever found that artifact before me... and before you all, now."
Mazilyn says to Asildu, "Truffenyi is seeing your deeds and I am making many a prayer on your behalf. There is hope."
Valynn just arrived.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Asildu says, "If they did, I'm not sure if they lived to talk about it."
Tirost asks Asildu, "Can you remember the location of any of the other artifacts?"
Illiya hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.
Betlind smiles at Valynn, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Valynn hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.
Valynn grins at Betlind.
Couri beams at Valynn!
Valynn hugs Betlind, getting a smile in return.
Valynn grins at Couri.
Qetu nods politely to Valynn.
Casari says, "Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't let you know, even if there were. But it would be good to know if they have any others waiting in the wings cause strife while we are focused elsewhere."
Betlind hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.
Valynn smiles at Qetu.
Asildu nods to Casari.
Valynn smiles at Madigan.
Valynn grins at Tirost.
Asildu says to Casari, "I feel like, if there were, I would feel them through the connection as I feel the Heralds. But... I've been wrong before."
Asildu gazes upward.
Couri leans back against Qetu with a loving smile.
Valynn pulls the hood of her cloak up.
Qetu gives Couri a light kiss.
Madigan smiles at Valynn.
Valynn pulls down the hood of her cloak.
Tirost smiles at Valynn.
Asildu says to Tirost, "Not yet. But I intend to spend every waking moment sifting through the fragments of my memory."
Tirost nods to Asildu.
A soothing melody plays across the area near Asildu, each soft, tranquil note seeming to aid in maintaining his calm.
Illiya asks Asildu, "Sorry, I got here late, but do we have your confirmation that destroying the artifacts is the right thing to do?"
Asildu says, "The moment I recall anything, even if vague like before, I will find a way to reach out."
Asildu nods to Illiya.
Illiya nods.
Casari says, "He looks more or less like a man again, now."
(Mazilyn hurriedly marks down another squiggle line of notes, her toe tapping with the melody)
Madigan takes a sip of his coffee.
Betlind asks Asildu, "Liraxes visited us recently to mention a shift in the Herald's tactics due to the effects of siphoning holy mana, and perhaps there was an unusually large force of drakes that may be threatening the machine outside Crossing. Have you been able to feel any change in the demeanor of the Heralds?"
Valynn gazes at Asildu.
Qetu glances at Asildu.
Asildu says to Illiya, "I was explaining to them that the artifact that was recently destroyed was a weapon of significant power created by the Heralds."
Illiya says to Asildu, "Thank goodness it was destroyed then."
Tirost nods to Betlind.
Asildu nods at Illiya, obviously agreeing with her views.
Qetu quietly says to Casari in an Ilithian accent, "A plant man, maybe."
Tiakim strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.
Asildu says to Betlind, "These days, it's rare to feel anything from them but rage."
Betlind nods to Asildu.
Asildu says, "Whatever their tactic may be now, I would say it's still rooted in their anger."
Tirost quietly says to Betlind, "We must be ready when they attack."
Betlind nods at Tirost, obviously agreeing with his views.
Valynn quietly says to Casari, "Slightly changed."
Asildu ponders.
Mazilyn beams at Sothios!
Asildu says to Valynn, "Changed enough to feel hopeful."
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Madigan takes a sip of his coffee.
Valynn grins at Asildu.
Madigan gets a steaming mug of midnight black coffee from inside his traveler's pack.
Couri asks Asildu, "Will it take an artifact ta help ye?"
Tirost says to Asildu, "That is a feeling worth hanging on to."
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "It just makes little sense. Why would they create artifacts, when they do not seem to need them. everything we learn about them suggests they are in the realm of the immortals for power."
Tiakim turns his blindfolded eyes heavenward.
Asildu says to Couri, "With the effect of the first being destroyed, I have reason to believe destroying others may further weaken my connection to the Heralds."
Couri nods.
Valynn says to Asildu, "Perhaps a skilled empath may help you with final touches once you are free of the Herald's influence."
Asildu says to Qetu, "The Heralds are far about your Immortals in power."
Asildu says, "Above."
Asildu coughs.
Valynn quietly says to Asildu, "If that is what you wish."
Asildu says, "The vines get in the way sometimes."
Tirost laughs!
Illiya grins at Asildu, her dimples flashing into view.
Qetu asks Asildu in an Ilithian accent, "Then you only further my point. What is the reason for an artifact on our plane?"
Asildu rubs at his throat.
Qetu rubs his head.
Asildu asks Qetu, "Have you seen some of the things that find their way in?"
Mazilyn rummages about her person, looking for something.
Qetu nods to Asildu.
Tiakim grins.
Asildu says, "It could be for defense. Or for entertainment. It's even possible there may have been a secondary use for it that I failed to discover in my research."
Valynn pours herself a goblet of Frostweyer white wine from her flask.
Mazilyn puts her notebook in her encompassing shadows.
Betlind ponders.
Qetu frowns.
Mazilyn takes off a diamond ox charm.
Madigan takes a sip of his coffee.
Mazilyn gazes at her charm.
Valynn takes a sip of her wine.
Mazilyn sighs and says a soft prayer to herself.
Asildu says, "As some of you may have noticed, that artifact was dangerous even to rub your hands over..."
Valynn ponders.
Asildu says, "I'm surprised there wasn't still pools of my blood on the floor around it."
A soothing melody plays across the area near Asildu, each soft, tranquil note seeming to aid in maintaining his calm.
Casari asks, "A contingency, maybe? It was made by three of them. If whatever it did was on the scale of power as the trio, but required only one to wield, then that alone would be a purpose. I assume it couldn't have been used against them?"
Asildu says to Casari, "Correct. Only they could wield it. If anyone... or anything... else figured out how, it would have been... very bad."
Casari asks, "Are you able to say exactly what it did?"
Betlind frowns.
Valynn says, "Certainly not by one of us. Look what studying those artifacts have done to him."
Valynn motions to Asildu.
Qetu nods at Valynn, obviously agreeing with her views.
Valynn says to Asildu, "Pardon, I mean no offense."
Asildu shakes his head at Casari.
Ezerak curiously asks Asildu, "Do you mean that it would be possible, if we found a way to?"
Madigan puts his coffee in his traveler's pack.
Madigan raises his hand in a quick salute.
Sir Madigan goes southwest.
Asildu says to Casari, "I never saw it in use, thankfully. So I can't say with any certainty."
Asildu says to Casari, "But the information I deduced was that it was of reality bending magnitude."
Qetu says to Ezerak in an Ilithian accent, "Thats all we need is an arms race to find the artifacts for.. who knows what purpose."
Betlind gives a slight nod.
Tirost glances at Betlind.
Asildu shakes his head at Ezerak.
Ezerak nods at Qetu, obviously agreeing with his views.
Casari says, "My instinct was that it was never meant to be anything more than a trap for someone like you."
Valynn nods to Qetu.
Betlind blinks at Tirost.
Valynn takes a sip of her wine.
Asildu says to Ezerak, "No. I don't believe anyone else could wield it but them. Unless, maybe, it was an entity more powerful than them. But I doubt even that. Mostly because I doubt an entity more powerful exists."
Asildu raises an eyebrow in Casari's direction.
Asildu asks Casari, "A trap?"
Tirost says, "Regardless of the Heralds' purpose in creating the artifacts, as much as it pains me as a scholar to say this, we should prioritize destroying them, if it removes a possible weapon from the field of battle, helps Asildu and the Immortals."
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "History has aptly shown us, with the heralds and immortals... There always seems to be something stronger."
Casari says to Asildu, "Either to create supplicants, or to amuse their malice, or to break hope."
Ezerak gives a slight nod.
Asildu says to Casari, "I can't say it's impossible."
Asildu nods to Qetu.
Valynn quietly says to Tirost, "Without taking the finder with it..."
Tirost glances at Valynn.
Couri asks, "And what of the threat ta the Liraxes and the machine by the Heralds?"
Qetu says to Asildu in an Ilithian accent, "In your recollection, does a bell mean anything to you? the simplest of observations, could be profound."
Couri says, "THey be afraid of that as well."
Asildu says to Couri, "Oh, I trust they'll attack it."
Couri nods to Asildu.
Mazilyn asks, "Will ya be leading the attack?"
Tirost says, "And we will defend it."
Asildu shakes his head at Mazilyn.
Tirost glances at Betlind.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Asildu says, "The Heralds don't need me to wield the drakes."
Casari says to Asildu, "Can you be sure they won't force you anyway? They seemed keen on tormenting you, in the swamp."
Mazilyn ponders.
Asildu says, "I would offer to help defend against them if I didn't know with absolute certainty it would end in the Heralds smearing my insides across the ground."
Illiya winces.
Tirost gives a slight nod.
Asildu frowns.
Betlind gnaws on her lip.
Valynn appears to be listening intently for something.
Mazilyn says to Asildu, "May Truffenyi's mercy and Albreda's peace grant you a spot to hide safely away from the battle."
Asildu says to Casari, "Also not out of the realm of possibility. But I've been fighting against the connection."
Mazilyn offers Asildu a diamond ox charm.
Casari gives a slight nod.
Asildu says to Casari, "I hope to continue doing so."
Asildu accepts Mazilyn's ox charm.
Betlind nods emphatically at Asildu.
Asildu glances at a diamond ox charm.
Valynn gazes thoughtfully at Asildu.
Casari asks, "If it comes to it, I'll try to help. I don't suppose you can teach us that song of yours?"
Asildu says to Mazilyn, "I'm still not convinced the Immortals have any interest in me, but I appreciate the sentiment."
Ezerak nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.
Casari says, "Something about the enchante seems... out of reach."
Mazilyn says, "He sees your deeds and knows your repenting. keep it as a reminder that they hear our prayers."
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Tirost says to Asildu, "Are you confident Liraxes can be trusted? It seems to have kept its word, but its analogy regarding sorcery suggests that sorcery is necessary because it releases energy from a system to prevent an overflow, which seems at odds with the juice analogy."
Asildu says to Casari, "I'm not sure I can. It's a bit of a trick I'm not sure a Bard alone or a Warrior Mage alone could replicate."
Casari says, "That sounds about right."
Mazilyn gets a jungle-green notebook with a tooled leather cover from inside her encompassing shadows.
Valynn glances at Tirost.
Valynn takes a sip of her wine.
(Mazilyn scribbles down some more notes about the melody)
Asildu says to Tirost, "Liraxes can be trusted to maintain what it views as balance. I'm no Lunar mage, but I've read enough books in my time."
Tirost nods to Asildu.
Asildu asks, "The question is... what does it view as balance?"
Valynn idly picks at a forest green cloak with a carved acorn toggle.
Tiakim fidgets nervously.
Betlind furrows her brow.
Casari says, "And whatever that balance may be, it has no obligation to tell us the truth."
Tirost says to Asildu, "It has said that the state of the plane before wild magic was the state it wished to maintain."
Asildu says to Casari, "Not if it might affect the balance."
Asildu says to Tirost, "But how long ago was that? How different was the plane then? Do we even really know when this wild magic actually started occurring? We know when we *noticed* it."
Tirost nods to Asildu.
Tiakim pats himself down. Whatever.
Casari says, "Good point. The time scale of these beings... maybe it started before all of our civilization began."
Asildu says, "Me, personally... I'd be wary. It seems to align presently, but it's under no obligation to continue to do so if anything mortals do threaten that balance it seeks."
Betlind gives Asildu a slight nod.
Couri nods to Asildu.
Qetu frowns at Asildu.
Asildu nods to Casari.
Couri says, "I nae trust it."
Valynn nods at Couri, obviously agreeing with her views.
Qetu nods to Couri.
Illiya rubs her head.
Asildu says, "I'm likely running short on time."
A soothing melody plays across the area near Asildu, each soft, tranquil note seeming to aid in maintaining his calm.
Mazilyn exclaims to Asildu, "Thanks for stopping to say hi!"
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Valynn nods to Asildu.
Asildu nods.
Illiya says to Asildu, "Thank you for sharing your insights with us."
Betlind bows to Asildu.
Asildu says, "I'll keep thinking on another artifact."
Tiakim gives a measured bow, deepening it ever so slightly to display additional respect.
Casari says, "We'll be ready."
Mazilyn exclaims, "Thanks!"
Betlind says, "Thank you for coming to speak with us."
Illiya nods to Asildu.
Betlind smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Betlind nods.
Asildu nods politely.
Qetu places his hands on his thighs and bows deeply at the waist towards Asildu, holding the position for a moment before returning upright.
Tiakim turns his blindfolded eyes heavenward.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Ezerak nods at Casari, obviously agreeing with her views.
Asildu says, "I hope to see you all again soon with at least something to guide you."
Betlind says, "Any clarity or insight during these dark days goes a long way."
Ezerak says to Asildu, "Say the word, and we'll destroy the next one too."
Illiya says to Asildu, "Until then, be safe."
Valynn smiles at Asildu.
Betlind bows to Asildu.
Asildu nods.
Tirost says to Asildu, "Thank you for sharing what you've remembered with us. Good luck, and when you can think of anything related to another relic, we will do what we can."
Asildu says, "Thank you."
Mazilyn puts her notebook in her pristine white purse.
Qetu says to Ezerak in an Ilithian accent, "I mean lets observe it just a little."
Mazilyn puts her quill in her pristine white purse.
Asildu glances at a diamond ox charm.
Ezerak shakes his head at Qetu.
Ezerak says, "Too dangerous."
Mazilyn says to Asildu, "Truffenyi is always listening to prayers."
Mazilyn says to Asildu, "Even yours."
Qetu says in an Ilithian accent, "Blindly destroying things shouldn't ever be the way."
Valynn says to Asildu, "Think on it."
Betlind praises Mazilyn.
Valynn nods to Asildu.
Valynn takes a sip of her wine.
Asildu nods.
Mazilyn beams at Asildu!
Casari says to Qetu, "If I could show you the echo within the chamber of the bell, and if you could feel their malice, you would understand."
Valynn puts her wine in her leather carryall.
Asildu says, "I'm going to focus my thoughts on the artifacts for now."
Ezerak asks Qetu, "Have you seen what studying them did to Asildu?"
Asildu says, "After that... we'll see."
Mazilyn nods.
Tirost says to Qetu, "I don't think it's blind at this point. One always wishes to know more, but at some point, one must decide and act."
Illiya nods to Tirost.
Valynn gives a gracious nod.
Qetu asks Casari in an Ilithian accent, "I do not doubt it, but they are all pieces in this puzzle, and when it's all laid out, what picture can you draw from missing pieces you destroyed too soon?"
Asildu bows to everyone gathered, looking a bit wary as he glances upward.
Casari nods to Asildu.
Qetu nods politely to Asildu.
Tiakim raises his hand in a quick salute.
Illiya bobs a quick curtsy to Asildu.
Mazilyn perks her ears up happily as she gazes at Asildu.
Asildu says, "I bid you all safer paths than mine."
Casari says, "Good luck, Asildu."
Betlind says, "Please, try and stay safe."
Asildu nods.
Betlind nods emphatically.
Couri curtsies to Asildu.
Asildu steps into a shadow and is simply gone!
Mazilyn says, "Im gonna help Truffenyi save his soul."
Mazilyn nods.
Valynn just touched a pale green four-leaf clover dangling on a thin silver chain.
Tirost frowns.
Illiya hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.
Illiya hugs Betlind, who wraps her arms around Illiya with a warm smile.
Valynn ponders.
Valynn hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.
Betlind hugs Illiya, getting a smile in return.
Illiya says, "Evening, all."
Valynn grins.
Strawberry Nurse Illiya goes southwest.
Valynn waves.
Mazilyn nods in agreement.
Valynn dusts herself off.
* Asildu returns home from a hard day of adventuring.
Valynn pulls the hood of her cloak up.
Betlind bows to Valynn.
Betlind hugs Valynn, getting a smile in return.
Tirost says to Mazilyn, "I hope you do it."
Valynn hugs Betlind, getting a smile in return.
Betlind smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Valynn grins.
Mazilyn beams at Tirost!
Valynn says, "Be well all. Safe paths."
Valynn waves.
Betlind says, "And yourself."
Couri waves to Valynn.
Betlind smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Valynn hoots, sounding remarkably like a real owl.
Tirost says, "Safe paths, Valynn."
Mazilyn says, "He's puttin in the work."
Casari waves to Valynn.
Mazilyn nods to Tirost.
Valynn goes southwest.
Qetu stands near Couri.
Tirost says to Mazilyn, "Yes... now, after so much..."
Tirost runs his fingers through his hair.
Couri leans back against Qetu with a loving smile.
Mazilyn says to Tirost, "Not for us to judge his worthiness of the immortal's forgiveness."
Tirost nods to Mazilyn.
Mazilyn says to Tirost, "Just for us to help offer."
Tirost says to Mazilyn, "I hear you, Cleric, yet some part of me also understands the anguish his choices and former zeal wrought on the world."
Tiakim rummages through a sailor's canvas duffel bag stenciled with "Acacia Flower -- Royal Zoluren Navy".
Tirost says, "But perhaps my feelings are a human failing."
Mazilyn says to Tirost, "Thats the difference between societal forgiveness and immortal's forgiveness."
Mazilyn says, "He might never get the first."
Mazilyn says, "But we can try for the second."
Tirost nods to Mazilyn.
Betlind nods.
Tirost asks Betlind, "Will you defend Liraxes machine?"
Betlind says to Tirost, "That's the plan, aye."
Mazilyn exclaims, "With a shield like that i hope so!"
Mazilyn beams at Betlind!
Betlind giggles at Mazilyn.
