Zynell/Logs/The Rock of Truffenyi
The Rock of Truffenyi: Hav'roth
[Forest of Night, Inner Shrine]
Light creeps through the cracks of this broken shrine and pours in through the roof. An altar rests against the northmost wall, and the tiles that covered the floor have been mostly pulled up to let grass poke through. You also see a stone seat, a pale blue moonbeam, a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy and a sunset-hued papillon puppy.
Gragnel exclaims to Ectheleon, "Hey, Leon!"
Ectheleon chuckles.
Vythlak says to Ectheleon, "Glad you made it Leon."
Elurora says, "Oh...that was the joke."
Elurora gazes off into the distance.
Ectheleon smiles at Vythlak.
Gragnel says to Elurora, "Its not much, but it's honest work."
Gragnel nods.
A blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy paces over to stand beside a sunset-hued papillon puppy, the two exchanging a quick sniff.
Vythlak softly says to Gragnel, "Let see how long it takes him to catch on."
Elurora quietly says to Ectheleon, "They kept talking about dropping you and making someone named Leon do it..."
Elurora gazes off into the distance.
Gragnel chuckles.
Mouth open in a grin, a sunset-hued papillon puppy lopes up to a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who baps the papillon puppy with a careless paw, sending it sprawling.
Kitosaki laughs at a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
Ectheleon chuckles.
Ectheleon nods.
Vythlak says, "Alright folks, lets get settled in."
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Vythlak says, "Ferry schedules and all that delayed us slightly, but we're here and that's what matters."
Vythlak says, "I'd like to thank you all for coming today to support the Immortals again in their ongoing struggles to protect us all."
Vythlak says, "For those who do not know me, I am Vythlak, Cleric of Phelim."
Elurora waves to Vythlak.
Elurora says, "Poisoner."
Vythlak dreamily murmurs a brief prayer to himself.
Elurora nods to Vythlak.
Gragnel laughs!
Gragnel grins at Elurora.
Vythlak adjusts his lambswool stole into place.
Leilanie looks at Elurora, obviously trying not to grin.
Vythlak says, "Today we are here to offer our stories, actions, and songs in honor of Hav'roth and his aspects."
Vythlak says, "We are joined by several other speakers: Reverend Gragnel, Aemaranth, Relay, Pradya, Ecthelion, and Mazilyn. If you would like to join this august list of speakers, please whisper me."
Vythlak
Vythlak says, "Now, before we get to them, I'd like to offer a short prayer to Hav'roth."
Vythlak recites:
"Lord of the earth Lord of the deep Help with the stone in our hearth The rock to build our keeps"
Vythlak recites:
"Sweep gems of sapphire, ruby, and emeralds Into my path So their glitter may blind the heralds"
Kilenti gazes down at the ground.
Vythlak recites:
"To you, lord of the cobras We offer our thanks And hopes for the future"
Gragnel gazes up at the sky.
Gragnel shakes his fist!
Vythlak recites:
"Hav'roth, head our pleas Bring your wrath and venom Upon those who would harm you and us."
Seihjin adjusts his winterweave hat.
Vythlak mutters a prayer and appears to grow calm.
Elurora furrows her brow.
Gragnel
Vythlak exclaims, "Okay, and with the opening benediction completed, I'll turn things over to Reverend Gragnel!"
Vythlak smiles at Gragnel.
Tirost adds to Vythlak's praises.
(Vythlak steps back to stand with the other clerics.)
Mazilyn beams at Gragnel!
Ectheleon leans forward.
Elurora looks at Vythlak and applauds!
Gragnel gets a pitted iron comb from inside his leather longcoat.
Gragnel runs his iron comb through his hair.
Gragnel runs his iron comb through his hair.
Mazilyn beams at Vythlak!
Vythlak says to Elurora, "}Elur /quietly As to that, why do you think Olly isn't here now....."
Kitosaki nods.
Gragnel puts his comb in his leather longcoat.
Vythlak says, "Cackle elur."
Gragnel dusts himself off.
Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Vythlak.
Gragnel smiles broadly as he makes his way to the front of the group, turning sharply and facing the gathered gazes leveled at him.
Gragnel loudly says, "Geetings, one and all, I am Reverend Gragnel Durbin."
Kitosaki chuckles.
Gragnel inhales a great swallow of air.
Gragnel says, "I am a priest and disciple in the service of the fearsome and frightening, majestic and mysterious, powerful and perfect, honorable and holy, terrific and terrifying, stalwart and secretive, excellent and elusive, cunning and calculating, vicious and venerated, loving and loathsome, great and glorious..."
Gragnel says, "My dark master of the shadows and Immortal panther of the Thirteen, Lord Damaris."
Elurora squints at Gragnel.
Gragnel lightly touches his panther pin as he says a quick prayer.
You absentmindedly run your fingers across the back of your black panther and it seems to stir in response to your touch.
Gragnel slowly says, "And, Mama Dubin didn't raise some fool for a son."
Vythlak nods to Gragnel.
Gragnel says, "So, bearing that in mind, I have prepared some words on our Lord Hav'roth for you all today."
Gragnel thankfully says, "I appreciate your time and attention."
Gragnel gets a ceremonial prayer tome embedded with a trio of night diamonds from inside his leather longcoat.
Gragnel opens his prayer tome.
Gragnel clears his throat.
Gragnel adjusts his silver spectacles into place.
Gragnel recites:
"Hooded serpent of the Thirteen, Lord Hav'roth. We gather today in respect of your power and glory. You, who rule over rock and stone. You, who makes the shifting sands His home. We bring praise unto you and exalt you in our words."
Elurora cocks her head.
Gragnel recites:
"The stories of your rage are well known to us. The creation of Qi'Reshalia upon the violation of your sacred Ru'at. The stories of your benevolence also rings in our ears. The gifts of the mind which you have given unto the S'Kra Mur. Together, with Lady Peri'el, you have brought great change to our world. "
Gragnel recites:
"Receive our praise and prayer today and bless us in our battle against those who would corrupt our land and take from its bounty."
Mouth open in a grin, a sunset-hued papillon puppy lopes up to a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who eagerly jumps over the papillon puppy but doesn't quite make it, and they fall into a fuzzy pile.
Gragnel recites:
"Oh, Lord Hav'roth, hear our words and extend to us your kindness."
Elurora giggles at a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
Elurora covers her mouth with her hand.
Gragnel nods.
Tirost nods.
Gragnel thankfully says, "I appreciate your time today, folks."
Gragnel closes his prayer tome.
Gragnel puts his tome in his leather longcoat.
Vythlak nods to Gragnel.
Elurora looks at Gragnel and applauds!
Kitosaki applauds.
Gragnel smiles.
Ectheleon praises Gragnel.
Couri smiles at Gragnel.
Tirost looks at Gragnel and applauds!
Gragnel nods to Vythlak.
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Relay arrives, his hands clasped in near perpetual prayer.
Mistanna smiles at Gragnel.
Seihjin folds his arms across his chest.
Vythlak says to Gragnel, "Thank you for that Reverend, and a good reminder of some of the more physically obvious things the immortals have done, like altering islands and the like."
Gragnel gives a slight nod.
Aemaranth
Vythlak exclaims, "Next up, we have Priestess Aemaranth!"
Elurora smiles at Aemaranth.
Aemaranth nods.
Aemaranth cheerfully says, "Greetings fellow children of the Immortals, I am Aemaranth Dail'Kresla, I stand beneath the ever-turning stars, where stone and shadow are as sacred as light, to speak of two Immortals whose domains are often misunderstood, but never unimportant."
Aemaranth somberly says, "Hav'roth, the Shaper, is the Immortal of Earth, of endurance, foundation, and creation. It is he who forges stone and bone alike, who steadies he mountains and the hearts of those who endure. His gifts are not loud, but lasting. Without him, nothing is built. Without him, nothing holds. And yet... even stone crumbles. Even the strongest foundation must one day face the truth of decay."
Aemaranth smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Aemaranth devoutly says, "Ushnish is not a god I feared. Not after I learned to listen. He does not whisper comfort he rends illusions. He strips away the rot we pretend isn't there. I have felt his touch raw, unrelenting. I have bled beneath it. But I have also healed. Not into what I once was... into something clearer and useful to him. Meaner, maybe. Yet, I am honest."
Aemaranth leans to her right slightly.
Tirost gazes at Aemaranth.
Aemaranth inhales a great swallow of air.
Aemaranth confidently says, "Ushnish teaches that not all poisons are curses. Some are cures are very harsh, yet, necessary. Some things must fester before they can be lanced. Some lies must decay before truth can take root.He is not gentle, but he is honest. And in a world built on stone, sometimes we need a god who will tear it down, so we can build again."
A sunset-hued papillon puppy paces over to stand beside a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, the two exchanging a quick sniff.
Aemaranth faithfully says, "I honor Hav'roth for the bones. I honor Ushnish for the rot between them."
Aemaranth gazes up at the sky.
Aemaranth questioningly asks, "And I ask you, "What have you buried beneath stone that needs to be unearthed?"
Kitosaki ponders.
Seihjin casually observes the area.
Aemaranth says, "I am done, I prefer to be quick."
Aemaranth shrugs.
Elurora praises Aemaranth.
Vythlak quietly says to Elurora, "Definitely not Olly."
Seihjin applauds.

Ectheleon chuckles.
Kilenti smiles at Aemaranth.
Elurora quietly says to Vythlak, "Too tall."
Gridaksma chuckles.
Seihjin wobbles, looking a bit faint.
Ectheleon pats Seihjin on the back.
Vythlak says to Aemaranth, "Delivered as quick as a serpent's lunge, with plenty of weight and complex thoughts for us to ponder."
Amabalis appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Vythlak smiles at Aemaranth.
Tirost rests his hand on a leather belt.
Aemaranth says to Vythlak, "The viper is quick and desires it from his followers."
Relay
Vythlak says, "While we contemplate those words, I'd like to have Relay offer his thoughts next."
Vythlak smiles at Relay.
Seihjin says to Aemaranth, "Don't forget about the fire."
Vythlak grins at Aemaranth.
The sun nears the far horizon as the clear blue sky deepens into a rich indigo.
Relay says, "Hello I am Relay, my poems are usually a little on the harder, rough side, for this one I wanted to go a bit softer..."
Relay smiles.
Kilenti smiles at Relay.
Relay recites:
"Walking on rocks Cobbles bite at the feet, pebbles lurk in the shoe, stones shift and trip Uneven pathways to trip and scrape the knee"
Kitosaki nods.
Relay recites:
"Building with rocks Walls crumble on the workers, mismatched sizes halt progress Stones thrown in glass houses"
Relay recites:
"Crafting with rocks Chissles stab flesh just as well, art of blood and dirt Heavy is the crafter of stone"
Elurora blinks.
Relay recites:
"Living with rocks Hold the fire tight, erode to change the land, ground to sand to show the passing time All things are rendered unto Urrem'tier"
Relay bows.
Gragnel nods to Relay.
Relay says, "Thank you."

Vythlak says to Relay, "Softer, but still with that touch of the Scorpion's sting none the less."
Tirost says to Relay, "Excellent poetry."
Relay nods to Tirost.
Relay says, "I am aware."
Elurora leans on Aemaranth.
Elurora ponders.
Mazilyn giggles at Relay.
Vythlak says, "Before we move on to our next speaker, please whisper me if you'd like to say something or make an offering after the other speakers are done."
Aemaranth smiles at Elurora, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
A blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy drops into a play bow before a sunset-hued papillon puppy, who responds by crouching nervously, hopeful tail waving just a bit.
Aemaranth leans on Elurora.
Kilenti shifts her weight.
Ectheleon nods at Vythlak, obviously agreeing with his views.
Elurora wraps her arm around Aemaranth's shoulder in a friendly hug.
Vythlak says to Pradya, "You're up next."
Pradya nods.
Pradya
Vythlak exclaims, "Following the act of Urrem'tier, Pradya!"
(Pradya moves forward through the gathered clerics, smiling and nodding slightly to each with her hands clasped tightly in front of her.)
Pradya melodiously says, "Welcome and greetings. So many familiar faces and even some new. I am Pradya, cleric of the Immortals and student of the Thirteen. I was tasked to think on Hav'roth for this gathering."
Pradya melodiously says, "Hav'roth is rich in more than what he embodies, which is earth, sand, rock and gems. He is chosen by two of our races to be guardian and creator. The stability of the earth and growth of civilizations from bedrock is an immense burden that I can only imagine."
Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Pradya.
(Pradya opens her hand to show the gem held within.)
Pradya rubs a scoundrel's diamond.
Pradya melodiously says, "I was surprised that he was not the god chosen most by traders over Kertigen. Gems and stones being the being a foundation of the guild, it seemed awry. But we must remember what we need to get through to find the gem. With some means we must burst through hundreds of spans at times just to find a vein. So the trader waits for the work to be done."
(Pradya blushes as her cheeks turn a slight tinge of pink.)
Pradya melodiously asks, "I, of course mean no offense to the trader. I know their work is as daunting as each guilds may be. It is amazing to me though that the gods can hide something as beautiful as a diamond or ruby in grey, lusterless rock. And who determined the value? Are the grey rocks gems in other lands?"
Couri grins at Pradya.
Pradya melodiously says, "Is Hav'roth who we need to look toward for stability? Is rock a metaphor? Stability is important in almost every facet of life and civilization. Without strength and stability we are uncertain and might do things of more risk and danger."
Gragnel gives a slight nod.
Pradya melodiously asks, "Our magic is unstable. Mana is the foundation our talents are built on for the most part. So is mana our rock as well? Is the mana wearing away as rock does to sand with the constant battering of waves in the sea? Which way is the one to build the dam that will stop that wearing away?"
Vythlak nods to Pradya.
(Pradya shakes her head slowly with a gentle smile and glances over the gathered.)
Pradya melodiously says, "I am not here to provide an answer for that question but to steer us ever closer to our Immortals and let you make the choice that is right for you. Mayhaps we are fortunate that we can pick a passion or need and focus our senses on one of Thirteen, one of the Thirty-nine. We can pick love, truth, death's ease or stability. We are lucky indeed."
Pradya melodiously says, "In closing I offer a short prayer."
Pradya recites:
"From this rock that we stand upon we hold your gems in homage Grant us firm hands and heavy axes Make the sands bind together under our feet provide the foundation needed to build your altar Hav'roth, our prayers to you flow through diamonds light"
Pradya smiles and curtsies deeply, turning slowly to reach her preferred spot in the back of the gathered clerics.
Ectheleon adds to Pradya's praises.
Elurora looks at Pradya and applauds!
Vythlak praises Pradya.
Tirost continues to praise Pradya.

Kilenti praises Pradya.
Gragnel smiles at Pradya.
Kitosaki grins.
Relay nods to Pradya.
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Vythlak says to Pradya, "Both insightful and well spoken. I've too often wondered why we don't see too many of my kin who follow Hav'roth. Perhaps it was a practice lost in the fall of the Gemfire Mountains holds."
Ectheleon ponders.
Pradya smiles.
Leilanie smiles.
Ectheleon
Vythlak says, "An excellent set of speakers and thoughts shared so far. I'm certain that Leon won't let us down with his either."

Gragnel says to Vythlak, "That's the goal."
Leilanie beams at Ectheleon!
Ectheleon says, "I won't as smooth as Relay's Poetry or as intriguing as Pradya's questions but I shall share nonetheless."
Ectheleon chuckles.
Tirost smiles at Ectheleon.
Ectheleon says, "Hello to all you wonderful folk, thank you for coming to the Holy Party! I only have a few short words to share with everyone but I thank you for your time."
Ectheleon beams!
Ectheleon says, "Thank you to Vythlak for hosting, to the guests who have spoken such far, and to the work of those who have laid the foundation for us to stand on."
Ectheleon smiles.
Ectheleon says, "Goddess of the Inner Earth, one of the greatest warriors amongst the Immortals, Peri'el exemplifies qualities that I would seek to emulate."
Ectheleon says, "Self-sacrificing, she continues the song that will hopefully forever extend the slumber of the World Dragon, an action that provides safety to all of us."
Gragnel nods in agreement.
A sunset-hued papillon puppy paces over to stand beside a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, the two exchanging a quick sniff.
Ectheleon says, "Patron, to war veterans who have served and lost as she too has lost, a maimed leg and a lost eye in the battle to protect our realm."
Vythlak nods at Ectheleon, obviously agreeing with his views.
Ectheleon says, "Strength, to do what is needed even when it may be difficult or cause harm, harm not always seen on a physical level."
With an eager bounce, a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy approaches to sniff a sunset-hued papillon puppy, but they simply stand staring at each other, completely still but for their waving tails.
Ectheleon says, "While we may not see her, I still show thanks for all the things that Peri'el has done."
Ectheleon says, "I hope to never forget the efforts that go unseen, never underestimate the sacrifices that are given quietly and without expectation of repayment, and instead always show thanks where I can."
* Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka joins the adventure.
Ectheleon says, "Thank you to everyone here. Thank you to all those people in your lives that love and support you. May you find kindness wherever you go."
Ectheleon smiles.
Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka just arrived.
Vythlak smiles at Ectheleon.
Ectheleon bows his head in acknowledgement.
Tirost smiles at Ectheleon.

Unaka nods.
Vythlak says to Ectheleon, "Thank you for those words."
Couri beams at Ectheleon!
Tirost praises Ectheleon.
Mistanna smiles at Unaka.
Ectheleon smiles at Vythlak.
Gragnel whispers something to Unaka.
Gragnel waves to Unaka.
Mistanna smiles at Ectheleon.
Unaka blinks at Gragnel.
Unaka flashes a wide grin at Gragnel.
Aemaranth nods politely to Unaka.
Tirost says to Ectheleon, "Eloquent indeed, and inspiring."
Ectheleon blushes, the tips of his ears turning a deep shade of red.
Gragnel nods to Ectheleon.
Gragnel says to Ectheleon, "Noble qualities to draw inspiration from, indeed."
Vythlak says, "We've talked about Hav'roth, Ushnish, and Peri'el now."
Unaka says, "Sorry I'm late. Sounds like I missed inspiring stuff."
Ectheleon chuckles.
Mazilyn says, "Ya did, but ya just in time."
Leilanie pets a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
With a carefree attitude, the wolf-hound puppy flops onto its back to offer its belly for a rub.
Tirost smiles at Unaka.
Mazilyn
Vythlak says, "So we will flow, like the desert winds, to our next speaker, Mazilyn."
Mazilyn giggles.
Mazilyn beams!
Vythlak nods to Unaka.
Ectheleon beams at Mazilyn!
Mazilyn exclaims, "Thats me!"
With an eager bounce, a sunset-hued papillon puppy approaches to sniff a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who joyfully dives in to wrestle, putting its whole mouth over the papillon puppy's snout until the puppy paws it away.
Mazilyn bounces around happily.
Gragnel grins at Mazilyn.
Vythlak nods to Mazilyn.
Mazilyn recites:
"Hi! I'm Mazilyn, Cleric of Truffenyi! I like traveling and i like the whole ground we walk on thing"
Relay glances at Mazilyn.
Elurora grins at Mazilyn.
Mazilyn recites:
"Recently i went on a trip to what may as well be Hav'roth land Anyone been out to Muspar'i? It s sand as far as you can see!"
Tirost grins.
Gragnel nods.
Mazilyn gets a leather journal embossed with vines encircling a crossed scroll and quill from inside her pristine white purse.
Mazilyn recites:
"Truffeny doll and my puppy had a great time frolicking I was wondering how to get sand out of white clothes and fur"
Kilenti beams at Mazilyn!
Mazilyn points at a miniature Truffenyi doll dressed in silvery blue robes she has.
Vythlak grins at Mazilyn.
Mazilyn points at a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
Mazilyn points at a sunset-hued papillon puppy.
Mazilyn exclaims, "THAT ONE!"
Mazilyn giggles.
Vythlak chuckles.
Kitosaki grins.
(Mazilyn giggles as she shows a sketch of her Truffenyi doll smiling at the wonders civilization comes up with as the airships go to and fro. Her sunset papillion puppy is in the background building a sandcastle that continuously falls down)
Mazilyn recites:
"We didnt actually get on the air ships Instead we got on the barge"
(Mazilyn shares a sketch of her Truffenyi doll poking at all the barge's workings, impressed by the craftsmanship and idea behind using the yeehars to pull it. Her sunset-hued papillon puppy sits with her paws up on the edge, tongue hanging out and flapping in the wind along with her ears)
Ectheleon smiles at a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
Unaka observes Mazilyn with fascination.
Mazilyn recites:
"Then we went looking for the shops There was a lot more sand and a maze And SOMEONE might have gotten lost"
(Mazilyn pointedly looks at her Truffenyi doll)
Mazilyn recites:
"But it was fun! We saw all kinds of sand exploring Hav roth s land And we eventually found the shops"
Vythlak rubs a petite grey-green katydid.
(Mazilyn beams proudly as she shows a sketch of her Truffenyi doll with a bemused face as he sifts through the wares while the sunset-hued papillon puppy barks at the artificial trees in a sea of sand)
Mazilyn recites:
"Not sure that i really wanna spend more time in the desert But its nice to know civilization can grow anywhere And sometimes its nice to feel the sand between your toes."
Mazilyn beams!
Mazilyn sighs and says a soft prayer to herself.
Seihjin applauds.
Vythlak grins at Mazilyn.
Elurora looks at Mazilyn and applauds!
Couri beams at Mazilyn!
Vythlak mutters a prayer and appears to grow calm.

Kilenti beams at Mazilyn!
Gragnel nods to Mazilyn.
Tirost smiles at Mazilyn.
Ectheleon beams at Mazilyn!
Mazilyn giggles.
Ectheleon nods at Gragnel, obviously agreeing with his views.
Unaka says to Mazilyn, "Truffenyi appreciates your efforts."
Mazilyn says, "I did remain leech free."
A blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy drops into a play bow before a sunset-hued papillon puppy, who pins the wolf-hound puppy down to gnaw on its ear, slobbering happily.
Tirost chuckles.
Mazilyn beams at Unaka!
Vythlak says to Mazilyn, "Thank you for continuing to share your drawings and tales... or tails... of adventure and civilization."
Ectheleon bursts out in a sudden snort of laughter.
Mazilyn gives her Truffenyi doll a little hug. Did the doll give her a little hug back?
Kitosaki breaks out in a silly grin.
Kilenti
Vythlak says, "Next up is our last speaker who has requested to say something.... if I can get a round of applause for."
Relay gazes at Ectheleon.

Kilenti says, "Bare with me, my thoughts have felt very jumbled lately."
Gragnel gives a slight nod.
Kilenti smiles.
Kilenti says, "Hello! I am Kilenti Lopen, Cleric of Saemaus."
Kilenti says, "I am not proud to say that there have been moments this week that I have struggled with my faith."
Kilenti blushes a bright red color.
Relay nods to Ectheleon.
Vythlak pats Kilenti on the back.
Kilenti says, "Being a cleric of Saemaus, I rejoice in the celebrations of life! Marriage, love, and happiness."
Ectheleon leans forward.
Kilenti smiles softly.
Tirost gazes thoughtfully at Kilenti.
You nod to Kilenti.
Kitosaki manages a sad-eyed grin.
Kilenti says, "This week I have seen the other side of Saemaus' blessings. I witnessed heartbreak, sadness, and even performed my first divorce. I was left with doubt. If I was the proper cleric for Saemaus. It all felt difficult. Too hard."
Kilenti knits her eyebrows together in a thoughtful frown.
A tear runs down Kitosaki's face.
Kilenti asks, "What might this have to do with Hav'roth, you might be asking yourself?"
Kilenti ponders.
Kilenti reaches up to rub Kitosaki's back.
Elurora glances at Kitosaki.
Kilenti softly asks, "I asked myself that as well. Over and over again, actually. While I struggled to find answers from my own god, what clarity could I receive from the god of rocks and stones?"
Kitosaki gulps.
Kilenti says, "I was sitting, praying on what I might share here with you today, the image of an engagement ring entered my mind. A symbol of a promise made. Usually crafted from a precious metal, adorned with a beautiful gem. Like diamonds created under pressure and high temperatures. Those like Hav'roth created."
Kilenti nods.
Kilenti smiles.
Kilenti says, "Then the image of a desert came to mind, the earth laid out before me, dry and bare. It reminded me that sometimes the land cannot offer the support that all things need to flourish. Sometimes diamonds aren't made, sometimes something beautiful isn't created. Like the promises made with those rings, sometimes the elements are too much to make those promises hold true. We don't always know what will come, but either way we should welcome the lesson."
Relay observes Kilenti with fascination.
Kilenti reverentially says, "Like we give thanks to Saemaus for his roses, we should give thanks to Hav'roth for his rocks and gems. Whether they create rough terrain or grace a wedding ring."
Kilenti mumbles a word of general praise.
Kilenti smiles.
Mazilyn beams at Kilenti!
Kilenti gives a slight nod.
Kitosaki ponders.
Vythlak nods to Kilenti.
Relay beams at Kilenti!
Couri beams!
Gragnel nods at Kilenti, obviously agreeing with her views.
Elurora adds to Kilenti's praises.
Your ears straighten up smartly as you gaze at Kilenti with pride.
Aemaranth smiles, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Ectheleon praises Kilenti.
Gragnel says, "Well said."
Kitosaki hugs Kilenti, who wraps her arms around Kitosaki with a warm smile.
Gragnel nods.
A tear runs down Kitosaki's face.
Tirost continues to praise Kilenti.
Kilenti hugs Kitosaki, getting a smile in return.
Vythlak says to Kilenti, "A somber note, but, as always, a thoughful one."
Mazilyn nods in agreement.
Vythlak says, "Alright, that wraps up the list of folks who told me they wanted to speak today."
Vythlak says, "I would like to extend my personal thanks for each of the speakers for talking today. We've had a slowly growing and changing list as we speak to different aspects of the immortals."
Tirost nods.
Vythlak says, "As well as my thanks for those who come to hear our words."
Vythlak grins.
You say to Kilenti, "And a good reminder that our faith and devotions are choices. Not always easy and not always clear."
Cobra Vision
You hear a sibilant hissing all around you, the susurration low in volume at first, then growing. Through one of the cracks in the wall, a golden cobra slithers in, its hooded head dipping as it travels. It stops in the middle of the floor, rising up to its full height, two dark spots on the hood shining like eyes. With a sudden twist of its middle, it shoots down to the ground again and disappears behind the altar.
Kilenti nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.
Seihjin blinks.
Kilenti smiles.
Tirost blinks.
Vythlak blinks.
Couri blinks.
Elurora raises an eyebrow.
Gragnel's jaw drops.
Kitosaki ducks his head.
With an eager bounce, a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy approaches to sniff a sunset-hued papillon puppy, but they simply stand staring at each other, completely still but for their waving tails.
Pradya inhales a great swallow of air.
Relay smiles.
>look behind alt There is nothing behind there.
Gragnel exclaims, "He is with us!"
Vythlak says, "Sometimes, like now, we are blessed with physical manifestations of our faith."
Seihjin says, "Speak the name and summon the avatar."
Mistanna nods at Gragnel, obviously agreeing with his views.
Mazilyn beams!
Aemaranth just touched an altar.
Vythlak says, "Though most often we go with less obvious signs."
Unaka says, "The gods hear your prayers."
Leilanie mumbles a word of general praise.
Unaka nods to Vythlak.
Vythlak nods to Unaka.
Aemaranth grumbles ominously, "May Ushnish's ire not focus on me, nor on my family, that disease and famine may pass us by. May he spare our town from his wrath, lest lava flow and floods strike down."
Mazilyn nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.
Tirost smiles at Vythlak.
Mazilyn says, "Didnt even scare the puppies."
Mazilyn beams!
With an eager bounce, a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy approaches to sniff a sunset-hued papillon puppy, but they simply stand staring at each other, completely still but for their waving tails.
Leilanie pets a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy.
The wolf-hound puppy chews at one paw.
Vythlak asks, "Before I offer a brief closing benediction, are there any other matters or affairs?"
You raise your hand.
Ectheleon peers quizzically at you.
Vythlak nods to you.
Kitosaki says, "I thought for a moment the cobra had come to put me out of my misery."
Unaka says, "Once you're all closed and such, I just wanted to talk to folks about what's going on lately."
A tear runs down Kitosaki's face.
Vythlak says to you, "Figured you'd have something, one way or another."
Vythlak grins at you.
You say, "We will be looking to celebrate faenella next time. that will conclude 1 of each of the 13's aspects."
Vythlak pats Kitosaki on the back.
Mouth open in a grin, a sunset-hued papillon puppy lopes up to a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who eagerly jumps over the papillon puppy but doesn't quite make it, and they fall into a fuzzy pile.
Vythlak asks you, "Who is our host for the final one?"
Gragnel raises his hand.
You say, "Many thanks to those who are helping put these together. it has been a lot, and far too much for any singular person to maintain."
You say, "Gragnel."
Unaka smiles at Gragnel.
Gragnel flashes a wide grin.
Gragnel accepts Vythlak's red wine.
Vythlak says to Gragnel, "You'll need that."
Ectheleon lets out a hearty cheer for Gragnel!
Gragnel continues to praise Vythlak.
Vythlak nods at you, obviously agreeing with your views.
Tirost smiles at Gragnel.
Unaka asks Gragnel, "You sure you don't wanna switch over to Truffenyi?"
Gragnel exclaims, "Two-handed on the wine!"
Mouth open in a grin, a sunset-hued papillon puppy lopes up to a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who eagerly jumps over the papillon puppy but doesn't quite make it, and they fall into a fuzzy pile.
Tirost asks Gragnel, "Or Meraud?"
Vythlak laughs at Gragnel.
Unaka winks at Gragnel.
You say, "We will be continuing to host, just proud of folk to have gotten through 13."
Gragnel says to Unaka, "Truffenyi's mercy and forgiveness is something I strive to emulate. But, no. Damarais has claim on me."
Unaka says to you, "Agreed."
Aemaranth says, "If you need to switch to Truffenyi, I would offer my services in the act of sacrifice."
Ectheleon smiles at you.
Aemaranth smiles at Gragnel, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Elurora glances at Aemaranth.
Gragnel chuckles at Aemaranth.
Vythlak asks you, "Anything else to add?"
You shake your head.
Vythlak says, "Alright then. A brief closing, then it'll be all yours, Unaka."
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "Yes, it is one of the things that some of us do."
Elurora nods to Aemaranth.
Aemaranth smiles at Elurora, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Tirost gazes at Unaka.
Gragnel tilts his dandelion wine side to side, making the light play off it.
Unaka says, "I just wanna say, you all have been really impressive in your faith, and I think it's making a difference."
Mazilyn glances at Relay.
Gragnel beams at Unaka!
Tirost smiles.
Kitosaki cocks his head at Unaka.
Relay smiles at Mazilyn.
Mazilyn beams at Unaka!
Gragnel exclaims, "Glory for the Thirteen and glory for the Thirty-Nine!"
Kitosaki manages a sad-eyed grin.
Vythlak says, "We are gathered here, in a broken place of worship. The altar is cracked, worship at this site has faded."
Pradya smiles.
Unaka says, "I can't say for sure, but it sure feels to me like the gods are hearing you, and I bet they are receiving strength from your efforts."
Gragnel nods to Vythlak.
Gragnel just touched an altar.
You nod at Unaka, in complete agreement with her views.
Vythlak says, "Yet even so, in a place, the gods can and will manifest that they are here in these places."
Vythlak nods to Unaka.
Unaka After Party
Unaka says, "I just wanted to ask what's going on with everybody's plans. I keep going back to meditate more, but I'm trying to follow along and be around to help if needed."
Tirost says to Unaka, "We are seeking the artifacts Asildu studied before he became bound the Heralds."
Couri says, "Still looking for artifacts."
Unaka nods.
Couri nods.
Unaka asks, "Any progress?"
(Umron taps his way in and comes to stand at the back of the group)
Gragnel says, "Oh, me? I'm just saying my daily prayers and trying to do right by Damaris. That's my master plan."
You say, "Lexxa is going to Beseech Elanthia once more about the artifacts specifically."
Kitosaki says, "I tried looking for artifacts or weapons to help.. but alas no luck yet, but I made others aware of the urgency of our task."
You say, "Lupdels has agreed to help look at the bardic lore behind the Obelisk in ker leor."
Unaka says, "Sounds like a good plan. I can't help much with artifacts but I'm rooting for you all."
Couri says, "Been traveling looking. Nothing yet, but learning much."
You say, "When he is planning to do that i do not know yet."
Paff says, "The black slab, rather than the obelisk, near Ker'Leor is interesting to me. It has a dragon's face on it, and an indentation where it seems like...something should go, but I don't know what."
Unaka nods.
Vythlak says to Couri, "You should sponsor Ump to have folks let him know about any of the artifacts as part of his weather reports."
Couri grins at Vythlak.
Couri nods.
Couri says, "I will."
Mazilyn says, "Im gonna have a Travel with Truffenyi day, i just donno when."
Unaka says, "Yeah, good to keep updated."
Couri says, "We are headin to the oblelisk next."
Mazilyn says, "Have people add their sketches or favorite places to the sketch book."
Couri nods to Paff.
Unaka says to Mazilyn, "Ohhh, now that sounds good."
Mazilyn beams at Unaka!
Vythlak looks thoughtfully at Mazilyn.
Leilanie smiles at Mazilyn.
Vythlak nods to Mazilyn.
Tirost asks Unaka, "If in your meditations you get a sense of anything we can do to aid the Immortals or sever the Heralds' bond to Asildu, let us know?"
Unaka says, "I like the sound of that. I'll try to be there."
Unaka nods to Tirost.
Mazilyn nods in agreement.
Tirost says to Unaka, "Thanks, Unaka."
(Umron leans on his cane tilting his head listening to the conversations)
Unaka says to Tirost, "Unfortunately I think the one who knows the most about Herald stuff is Asildu."
Tirost nods.
Gragnel nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.
Unaka says, "Aiding the Immortals, I'm starting to really feel it happening, like I said. The consistency of this faith, its strength... all of it is helping."
Tirost says, "I hope we can ask him about the artifacts, if we can meet with him again."
You nod at Unaka, in complete agreement with her views.
Leilanie ponders.
Vythlak nods to Unaka.
Unaka says, "I think it's been great to get together regularly and I wanna commend those of you who have organized that and hosted."
Ectheleon beams at Unaka!
Elurora nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.
Vythlak smiles.
Mazilyn beams at Unaka!
Kitosaki nods.
Gragnel says, "It's kept us on our toes, that's for sure."
Gragnel nods.
Unaka says, "The other great thing I've seen has been the creativity of worship. Something bigger than just prayers. Sharing personal stories, parts of yourselves."
Unaka says, "And particularly Mazilyn's big and different ways to touch Truffenyi. That has been really great."
Vythlak says, "It's life, and all the joys and struggles that it brings. Which then leads to growth."
Unaka smiles at Mazilyn.
Mazilyn beams!
(Umron taps around the back finding a good spot to lean and leans back)
Gragnel says to Unaka, "She really does bring it home with her words on Him."
Gragnel nods to Unaka.
Gragnel praises Mazilyn.
Unaka says, "Any projects that are big are a really good idea, so keep those coming."
Mazilyn says, "I gotta do another bigger one soon."
Mazilyn nods.
Tirost nods.
Unaka asks, "What about the Prison, is anyone still doing that or did you all decide not to try?"
Elurora says, "I know Imroth has spoken about it, though I don't know if he has a plan."
Couri says, "I am looking into the Knot and pure magic sides of it."
Umron ponders.
Aemaranth asks, "Has anyone figured out what law we would have to break to be put into this prison?"
Aemaranth raises an eyebrow.
Gragnel chuckles at Aemaranth.
Couri says, "Methinks a big one."
Couri nods to Aemaranth.
Gragnel says to Aemaranth, "I don't want to break it. You can just tell me when you find out so I can avoid it."
Gragnel nods.
Gragnel says, "I like being here in the real world."
Aemaranth says to Gragnel, "It is the easiest way to get into a prison. Everyone seems to want to go there."
Elurora asks Aemaranth, "I think we're hoping more for a jailbreak than a jail...in?"
Elurora furrows her brow.
Aemaranth looks at Gragnel and shrugs.
You say, "No one has stepped up to officially take the lead on the project yet, though the prison seems like something Saragos might be interestedin."
Unaka says, "My only guess is that the Immortals might have something to do with the way in. But also, I guess if you get through to Asildu, he knows about Herald stuff."
Unaka nods to you.
Tirost glances at you.
You say to Tirost, "He does the magic portal things."
You shrug.
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "A break in or a break out are both very similar."
Unaka says, "And who knows. Might be multiple ways in."
Vythlak strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.
Tirost nods to you.
Tirost smiles.
Kitosaki says, "I mean we could try eatting all of Urrem'tiers cupcakes."
Elurora quietly says to Aemaranth, "I wouldn't know."
Elurora shifts her weight.
Vythlak says, "Multipronged assaults can work well."
Tirost quietly says to you, "That he does."
Gragnel says to Kitosaki, "I leave that task to you."
Kitosaki grins.
Vythlak glances up at the sky.
Aemaranth says to Elurora something in Rakash.
You say, "Also, i just spoke on it during Cleric Corner, but if anyone needs assistance crafting an event, let me know. I am well enough versed in the paperwork process by now."
Elurora flashes a quick grin at Aemaranth.
Elurora nods to Aemaranth.
Ectheleon nods to you.
Aemaranth leans on Elurora.
Elurora wraps her arm around Aemaranth's shoulder in a friendly hug.
Ectheleon exclaims, "Can attest to Zynell's helpfulness in this!"
Mazilyn says to you, "Will take ya up on that."
You nod.
Unaka says, "Anyway, I've been focusing a lot on meditating lately so that my visions become stronger and easier to convey. Particular questions are still really hard to meditate on, and dangerous, but if you have any burning questions you think would benefit from the knowledge of Truffenyi, tell me about 'em."
Aemaranth says, "I have one question."
Unaka nods to Aemaranth.
Mazilyn beams at Aemaranth!
Vythlak softly says to Umron, "Careful with the uneven tiles in here. Easy to trip over them."
Umron asks Vythlak, "Oh...I havn gone tuh far in haf I?"
Vythlak pats Umron on the back.
Vythlak says to Umron, "No, you're fine."
Aemaranth asks, "As many of us spoke on, Hav'roth builds the stones and the bones of our world. Are there ways that we can help him to ensure our continued existence?"
Aemaranth peers quizzically at Unaka.
You say, "Sorcery."
Elurora gazes off into the distance.
Kitosaki says to Unaka, "Holy weapons..? Some physical way to allow all warriors to contribute, even if we can't use magic. Some of us want to lend our strength to the struggle."
You pat Elurora on the back.
Gragnel exclaims, "Sorcery is the way!"
Umron asks Vythlak, "Maybe I shud stay close to ya..ken elp watch ova me?"
Elurora firmly says, "Not for me."
Unaka asks Aemaranth, "Ways to help Hav'roth?"
Aemaranth nods at Elurora, obviously agreeing with her views.
Unaka nods to Kitosaki.
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Unaka says to Kitosaki, "If you all choose to break into that Prison, gonna need help in there I bet."
Aemaranth says, "To strengthen his gifts to us to better serve all of the thirty nine."
(Vythlak grabs Umron's hand and sets it on his shoulder.)
Vythlak nods to Umron.
Kitosaki says, "I know I speak the frustration of many from the Barbarian guild.. we sometimes feel helpless in these things we don't fully understand. But point us towards the enemy and we are your Tog."
Umron says to Vythlak, "Tank ye."
Gragnel grins at Kitosaki.
Kitosaki nods to Unaka.
Unaka says to Aemaranth, "Well, my visions came from Truffenyi, not Hav'roth. Anything I see of Hav'roth is kinda... through the lens of Truffenyi."
Aemaranth nods.
Gragnel says to Kitosaki, "I'll keep that in mind the next time someone wrongs me."
Gragnel grins.
Aemaranth says to Unaka, "Thank you."
Kitosaki nods to Gragnel.
Tirost says to Unaka, "That would be a question I'd like to know the answer to: whether Truffenyi feels we should return to the null prision to free the prisoners or not."
Elurora quietly says, "I just want to know why. Why now. Why the fight. What changed. Why can't they just...talk and make a truce."
You say to Kitosaki, "That is part of why we host these, praises and offerings to the immortals to help in both a small and big way."
Unaka says to Kitosaki, "Strong 'Tog like you is definitely going to be needed."
Elurora gazes off into the distance.
Kitosaki nods to Unaka.
Umron asks Vythlak, "Wha dey be chattin abou?"
Kitosaki blushes a deep green color.
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "All of the best agreements eventually end."
Unaka asks Aemaranth, "I can still try to think on it, just don't know how far I'd get with that question, you understand?"
Aemaranth says to Unaka, "A no is still an answer."
Aemaranth smiles at Unaka, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Elurora quietly says to Aemaranth, "Everything ends, but that doesn't mean it can't be made anew. That's the balance isn't it? Life and death. Dark and light."
Aemaranth says, "It tells us to look else where."
Vythlak softly says to Umron, "Visions, portents and actions. Trying to find a way to help preserve the world we live on from a threat we know as the Heralds."
Unaka says to Elurora, "Good question. I felt like I kinda got the answer to that out as best I could before... it's not easy."
Unaka says, "I can keep thinking on it, maybe."
Elurora smiles at Unaka.
Umron asks Vythlak, "Duh peopa dat annouce at duh jousts I been tuh wen yunger?"
Elurora says to Unaka, "I have no doubt that you are doing the best you can, and likely beyond what you should."
Gridaksma says, "It seems whatever event started all this has been forgotten to time already."
You raise your hand.
Gragnel asks Unaka, "Have you had any sort of guidence from Him on what we should do about Liraxes and his machine?"
Gragnel raises an eyebrow.
Kitosaki nods in agreement.
Unaka says, "The sense I got from those visions, and experience with the Clans, was that the Heralds aren't much for talking things out."
Tirost nods to Unaka.
Vythlak says to Umron something in Haakish.
Unaka says to Gragnel, "Not really thought about that one yet. But if it's a machine for sorcery, Truffenyi approves."
Gragnel nods.
Vythlak studies the faces around him.
Umron grumbles.
Aemaranth says to Elurora something in Rakash.
Umron says to Vythlak, "Dat don sound god."
Umron says, "Good even."
Gragnel says, "Guess I'll have to go back to it and spend some more time on things."
Gragnel gazes off into the distance.
You ask, "The moonwalkers had a vision a little bit ago of what might have been kertigen crafting something for Damaris. Is there something we can do to assist with that, or something we should prepare?"
Vythlak nods to Gragnel.
You angle your ears forward, gazing curiously at Unaka.
Unaka says to Umron something in Haakish.
Kitosaki says to Gragnel, "Good luck with that. I lead a group of people there trying to figure anything out..."
Kitosaki shrugs.
Umron waves.
Umron says to Unaka, "Ello dere...serry a bit knew ere."
Unaka nods to Umron.
Umron says to Unaka, "Name be Umron."
Gragnel says to Kitosaki, "Oh, I don't expect I'll make some grand discovery. But, I'll poke around a bit for sure."
Kitosaki nods to Gragnel.
Unaka says, "I'm Unaka. U names are pretty good in my opinion."
Vythlak says to Umron something in Haakish.
Gragnel laughs at Unaka.
Ectheleon chuckles.
Vythlak chuckles.
Tirost grins.
Couri says to Gragnel, "I know it took me tessera when I threw it at it."
Umron says to Vythlak, "Care tuh lead me to dis Unaka? I like tuh shake hands."
Unaka asks you, "I don't know that vision, what was it?"
Umron says to Unaka, "U names be pretta good I tink."
(Vythlak slowly walks forward, charting a path amongst the flatter tiles, leading Umron up to arms length from Unaka.)
Unaka nods in agreement.
Unaka leans down, bending at the waist, and extends a hand.
(Umron moves with Vythlak tapping with his cane and smiles)
Unaka shakes Umron's hand.
Umron says to Vythlak, "Tank ye."
Umron says, "Oh."
You say, "A man was sitting at a bench, frustrated with his work, a panther sat seemingly annoyed behind him as the shadows grew longer then the man finally found the mechanic to fix."
You say, "Something like that."
Umron says to Unaka, "Me haf tuh reach up fer dis un."
Unaka flashes a wide grin.
Unaka says, "I'm a 'Tog, friend. Everyone has to reach up."
Gragnel nods in agreement.
Tirost chuckles.
Vythlak says to Unaka something in Haakish.
Vythlak grins at Unaka.
With an eager bounce, a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy approaches to sniff a sunset-hued papillon puppy, who joyfully dives in to wrestle, putting its whole mouth over the wolf-hound puppy's snout until the puppy paws it away.
Umron says to Unaka, "Aww serry duh eyes no werk so haf tuh go by feel."
Unaka nods to Vythlak.
With an eager bounce, a sunset-hued papillon puppy approaches to sniff a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who joyfully dives in to wrestle, putting its whole mouth over the papillon puppy's snout until the puppy paws it away.
Aemaranth says to Elurora something in Rakash.
Elurora smiles at Aemaranth.
Elurora slowly says to Aemaranth something in conversational Rakash.
Unaka asks you, "That all of it?"
Umron asks Vythlak, "Haf anyun tried tuh write a strongly werded letta do dis Heralds?"
You say, "That i remember off hand. i did not bring those notes."
Vythlak says to you, "Maybe ask for Divyaush's blessings and help, and for Zachriedek's gaze to be averted from the project..."
Unaka asks Elurora, "I get that casting sorcery doesn't feel good. Is there something else that troubles you about it?"
Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.
Kitosaki asks, "The ticking sounds?"
Vythlak says to Umron, "Not certain they read my friend."
Kitosaki makes a disgusting grunting noise.
Umron sighs.
You say to Vythlak, "I would be more likely to offer Damaris pieces from various projects that had been.... rehomed."
Umron says to Vythlak, "Dey shud lern..."
Elurora slowly asks Unaka, "Have you done it? Felt the emotions unbalance? Felt how magic wriths in a way that feels wrong? Aren't Paladins about balance and guarding the light when the darkness comes?"
Gragnel says to Umron, "We'd have to use really big letters I would think. They are quite large and looming overhead."
Unaka says to Umron, "The Heralds are super powerful. We are lower than ants to them, I think. So far they don't really talk to us, except maybe to demand we do what they want."
(Umron uses his cane to tap Unaka's leg and laughs)
Umron says, "Dis uns knees be by me head."
Gragnel snickers.
Umron says to Unaka, "Well I ate tuh say dis."
Unaka says to you, "I'm afraid I don't know of anything about a project for Damaris. Sorry."
You say to Unaka, "Keth held a pure mana party, they did not respond like they did last time."
Elurora asks Unaka, "If we were meant to manipulate mana other than holy, would the Immortals not open our souls to all of it?"
Elurora cocks her head at Unaka.
You nod.
Umron says to Unaka, "But I haf fallen inta a pile of ants befer...I may o been bigger...but dey won dat fight."
(Umron turns towards the other voice.)
Gridaksma nods to Elurora.
Umron asks, "Who else be speakin?"
Unaka says to you, "They are really really big. Probably just busy consuming mana elsewhere, I guess."
Gragnel frowns.
Unaka nods to Umron.
Elurora quietly says to Umron, "I am Elurora, I believe we met briefly the other day."
Umron smiles.
Unaka says, "And yeah, ants CAN win, something I don't think they realize yet."
Vythlak says something in Haakish.
You say, "The other opinion was that they ate the mana without ill ramification and ignored the call."
Aemaranth says to Umron, "I am Aemaranth."
Umron says to Elurora, "Yes I rememba ye lass, good tuh ear yer voice again."
You giggle.
(Umron puts his hand out for a shake)
Elurora says to Umron, "It is good to see you again."
Elurora shakes Umron's hand.
Unaka says to Elurora, "I have done sorcerous casting, yeah. I have just the one spell but I use it sometimes. I know what it feels like."
Tirost says, "Sorcery can be a source of light too, and the Immortals have blessed its study and use. It has a cost like many things. It does hurt the emotions, so do other things that are worth doing. Falling in love, sometimes."
Couri nods to Tirost.
Gridaksma snickers at Tirost.
Umron asks, "Nice tuh meet ye Aemaranth...and Gragnel...er do yuh perfer Reverend?"
Unaka says to Elurora, "Your questions are good ones. Myself, I have faith in what the Immortals have been telling us themselves this past year. I think they have been clear."
Umron says to Elurora, "Good tuh be seen."
Elurora says to Unaka, "They have. But I cannot agree on this, at least for myself."
Gragnel says to Umron, "Reverend would be best, thank you for asking."
Aemaranth asks, "I will faithfully follow the will of Ushnish. However, I cannot help but wonder, what if the Heralds are correct in their stance on sorcery?"
Gridaksma says, "I think the fact your sacred Bulwark isn't clamping shut or being damaged by this conflict."
Elurora smiles softly, a tinge of sadness in her eyes.
Umron nods.
With an eager bounce, a sunset-hued papillon puppy approaches to sniff a blue-eyed wolf-hound puppy, who responds in kind, and they circle each other with tails wagging, investigating every scent.
Umron says to Gragnel, "Revernd it be den lad."
Unaka says, "I think that just because we are not built to manipulate more than one type of mana does not mean we shouldn't do it."
Gridaksma asks, "If it is the enforcement of order, who are we to second guess it?"
Vythlak says, "We follow the gods, the gods have laid the path. Sometimes we just have to act of faith, even if our reason would otherwise scream to go the other way."
Gragnel nods to Vythlak.
Aemaranth wraps her arm around Elurora's shoulder in a friendly hug.
You say to Aemaranth, "The balance of pure mana to sorcery will need to be addressed AFTER this conflict."
Elurora says to Vythlak, "If my path goes against faith, then so be it, I must forge my own then."
Unaka says, "Maybe sorcery is just a tool that's needed right now. Or maybe it's always been needed, but it's just uncomfortable."
(Umron keeps his hand on Vythlak's shoulder as he tilts his head listening to all the talks taking it all in)
Aemaranth ponders.
You say, "It is an issue, but one that we have to deal with for the time being."
Tirost nods to Unaka.
Aemaranth asks, "What if we break something that shouldn't be broken?"
Tirost says, "I don't think everyone needs to do sorcery to help, but if anyone wishes to learn, I hope they'll reach out."
Gragnel waggles his fingers mystically at Tirost. How nice.
Tirost smiles at Gragnel.
Ectheleon stretches his arms.
Gridaksma says to Tirost, "You Therengians of ALL people shouldn't be supporting it."
Elurora quietly says to Gridaksma, "I felt the Bulwark being unbalanced, hurt by what is going on, but Unaka says she feels it is still secure so I must trust that as I have no other way to know."
Kitosaki asks Aemaranth, "What if falling in love gets you crushed? Is it not important to take some risks?"
Tirost says to Gridaksma, "I am not a Therengian."
Umron asks, "Sorcery be the bending of mana to one's own will yes?"
Gridaksma says, "It is still against your Laws and your Baron's order."
Gridaksma snickers at Tirost.
Gridaksma asks, "Are you not part of the Northern Watch?"
Aemaranth says to Elurora something in Rakash.
Vythlak says to Elurora, "The gods guide as they will. Phelim alone knows the other gods have called me to do things I am still struggling to understand, or the powers they have seen fit to grant me."
Ectheleon exclaims, "I'm afraid I lack the history most folk have and am a bit tired. Thank you everyone and be well!"
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Vythlak looks at Elurora and shrugs.
Tirost says to Gridaksma, "I am, but my oath is to the Prince, though I am happy to serve the people of Therengia."
Vythlak shakes Ectheleon's hand.
Vythlak pats Ectheleon on the back.
Ectheleon smiles at Vythlak.
Gridaksma says, "If you serve the Watch, you are Therengian."
Couri hugs Ectheleon, who wraps his arms around Couri with a warm smile.
Elurora wraps her arm around Aemaranth's shoulder in a friendly hug.
Gragnel says to Ectheleon, "See ya later, Leon."
(Vythlak pats Umron's hand.)
Unaka says to Elurora, "So you feel you have to make your own path here... must be a pretty strong feeling."
Umron asks, "Don duh Theren's dislike duh necros buh no so much duh sorcery?"
Elurora says to Vythlak, "I guess in this case, I am putting trust in my soul and what I feel is right. Though in the end, I am prepared to be wrong."
Umron says, "Dey dislike duh walkin dead...if ye cast dem sorcery spells in any city it be illegal."
Tirost nods to Umron.
Vythlak smiles at Elurora.
Gragnel says, "As far as breaking something that shouldn't be broken, I don't feel our Immortals would lead us down a path that would have that as a result. Even the ones who are not so nice are here to teach us."
Gridaksma says, "It's convenient how convictions go out the window when power is involved."
Tirost says, "I follow Meraud, and his instruction to me was crystal clear. I'm also happy to help others learn about sorcery if they wish."
Vythlak says to Elurora, "Fair enough. As long as we can accept we may be wrong. The same thought clouds my mind as well, so you are not alone in your concerns."
You say to Elurora, "We will not ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. there are other smaller options to help the immortals than sorcery."
Elurora says to Unaka, "I have seen how people act with sorcery, it is almost like a drug to some. Gaining more and more power, no. I cannot do it. But I will fight if needed, though I wish not to, I will not fight with sorcery."
Umron says to Vythlak, "If yen need tuh leave lad I ken make me way back me be sure."
Unaka nods to Elurora.
Elurora gives Vythlak a slight nod.
Aemaranth says, "The path of the Dove."
Vythlak softly says to Umron, "I'm still good for a bit, but will set you on the course before I go."
Aemaranth smiles at Elurora, revealing the dimples in her cheeks.
Elurora says to you, "I know you do not push it onto me, but it is hard not feel like it is pushed right now."
Gragnel gives Elurora a slight nod.
Gridaksma says, "Meraud is one of the worst of the gods about throwing around his power and costing us dearly."
Elurora quietly says to you, "A lot like trying to swim against the current, luckily, I am a bit like a rock and can stand firm, at least for now."
Elurora winks at you.
Umron chuckles.
Unaka says, "We Paladins are good at that."
Tirost says to Gridaksma, "He has saved us, and given me what I wished for most in my hour of need."
Elurora nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.
Elurora quietly says to Unaka, "All the heavy armor helps."
Elurora flashes a quick grin at Unaka.
You say to Elurora, "Sorcery is the biggest help, but others can handle that. just like others join the combat and some of us triage."
Unaka chuckles.
Aemaranth ponders.
Unaka says, "Faith is helpful too."
Elurora nods to you.
Gridaksma asks, "Saved us? Saved his chosen warrior Vorclaf?"
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Elurora says, "Saved depending on how you look at it."
Elurora flashes a quick grin at Gridaksma.
You nod to Unaka.
Umron says, "Aww seems tings haf taken a turn toward duh bickerin."
Gragnel says to himself, "Thank the gods I stocked up on this wine. This conversation is getting heavy."
Gragnel tilts his dandelion wine side to side, making the light play off it.
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "Your faith is an inseration. It is what more of us should desire to have."
Gragnel takes a sip of his wine.
Tirost asks Gridaksma, "Would it have been better if he did not intervene against Lyras?"
Gridaksma says, "He simply claimed the loot."
Umron says, "My god dis...yer god dat."
Umron laughs!
Umron says, "I tink be time me head towards duh Crossin again."
Gridaksma says to Tirost, "He could have intervened before."
Vythlak says to Umron, "Let me lead you on the flat tiles."
Elurora quietly says to Aemaranth, "I'm not sure what I have is faith or stubbornness or just some weird sense of balance that makes sense to only me."
Umron says to Vythlak, "Tank ye."
(Vythlak slowly turns and walks Umron to the exit.)
Gridaksma asks, "Where was he when Lyras was actually defeated?"
Tirost says to Gridaksma, "That is your opinion."
Gridaksma peers quizzically at Tirost.
(Umron taps along the ground walking with Vythlak)
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "Think about it! Faith is just another word for stubbornness."
Elurora chuckles at Aemaranth.
Gragnel chuckles at Aemaranth.
Unaka says, "Okay so, questions to think about... I'll think a little more on why now, if I can. No promises it'll lead to anything new. I don't think I'll get anywhere with the Damaris crafting, or anything about Hav'roth unless it relates to Truffenyi."
Vythlak pats Umron on the back.
Elurora says to Aemaranth, "Sometimes."
Gragnel gives Unaka a slight nod.
Umron says to Vythlak, "Tanks again."
Kitosaki nods to Unaka.
Umron waves.
Aemaranth ponders.
Tirost says to Gridaksma, "I have heard that the there are great ramifications for the movement of the Immortals, nor would I ever claim to know the reasons why the act and when."
Vythlak says to Umron, "Straight out and you're back in the wilderness again."
Umron says, "Ye all enjoy duh bickerin."
Umron nods to Vythlak.
Vythlak grins at Umron.
Umron says, "Tanks."
Elurora says to Unaka, "Thank you for trying your best to help us understand, it is appreciated. Even when I don't like what comes from it."
You ask Unaka, "Artifacts as well, He may have noticed the heralds dropping things?"
Unaka nods to Elurora.
(Umron taps his way towards the exit)
Elurora flashes a quick grin at Unaka.
Umron says, "Oy look my god duh good un...no me god is."
Unaka says, "You're welcome. I am trying. I know visions are really confusing."
Elurora nods at Unaka, obviously agreeing with her views.
Gragnel says, "I think I'll excuse myself to go drink more of this wine. I've done enough talking for today."
Gridaksma says, "He did act though, just not in a time that didn't cost US mortals dearly."
Gragnel bows.
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "Well your stubbornness has inspired me to not use sorcery."
Elurora says to Unaka, "They're worse than poetry for that."
Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Aemaranth.
Elurora pulls Aemaranth to her in a tight hug.
Vythlak strokes his beard in thoughtful contemplation.
Unaka says to you, "Oh yeah, artifacts. I doubt I can help there either, but never know. I'll think about it."
Tirost says to Unaka, "Thanks for joining us."
Gridaksma says, "I have a way you may be able to help with that."
Gridaksma nods to Unaka.
Unaka smiles at Tirost.
Unaka asks Gridaksma, "Oh?"
Tirost smiles at Unaka.
You ponder.
You say, "The sky blobs."
Elurora softly says to Aemaranth something in conversational Rakash.
Gridaksma says, "It seems the Heralds and the Holy work kind of like water and oil. They don't mix. If you could beseech Truffenyi for his vision, you may find dark spots on Elanthia which might show Herald artifacts."
Unaka says, "Huh. Interesting idea."
Couri ponders.
Aemaranth asks Elurora something in Rakash.
Elurora nods to Aemaranth.
Elurora says to Aemaranth something in conversational Rakash.
Unaka says, "It's worth thinking about at least."
Kitosaki cocks his head.
You say, "We saw in Urrem'tier's vision that he pierced and ate something in the sky/void. I wondered if those were similar to the masses seen in the moonwalker visions."
Tirost gazes thoughtfully at you.
Unaka says, "Though for what it's worth, I'm not that sure any more that they are like oil and water."
Elurora cocks her head at Unaka.
Elurora asks, "What do you think they're like?"
You angle your ears forward, gazing curiously at Tirost.
Vythlak nods.
Unaka says, "More like... oil and much more potent oil? I don't know, the liquids are a bad analogy."
Elurora chuckles at Unaka.
Elurora says, "The whole juice thing still confuses me a bit."
You say, "Mana juice...."
Unaka grins at Elurora.
You nod to Elurora.
Elurora nods to you.
Unaka says, "Juice theory helped me! Not sure it's right to have oil theory about gods though."
Kitosaki asks, "Cupcakes and bacon? powerful and very tempting but probably not something to combine?"
Gridaksma says to Kitosaki, "Bacon cupcakes are great."
Elurora quietly says, "Now I'm starting to get hungry..."
Unaka says, "I guess I'd say that the gods are gods. Powerful overseers, creators, influencers. The Heralds are maybe not gods in the same way, but much more powerful. So they aren't Holy, but I don't think they're anti-Holy."
Elurora gazes thoughtfully at Unaka.
Unaka says, "Still, good stuff to think about."
Unaka nods to Gridaksma.
Elurora says, "Like frat to me then. I can drink it, but I don't like it."
Elurora says, "If we're going with the whole drink thing."
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "I will drink all the frat that you don't want."
You say, "We are slightly above sorcery, but below life, elemental and lunar."
Elurora looks at Aemaranth, obviously trying not to grin.
You giggle.
Gridaksma says, "I was more referring to the visions as well. When the Heralds were avoiding places where it seemed to be holy."
Unaka says, "Which vision was that? Tell me about it."
Aemaranth raises an eyebrow in Gridaksma's direction.
Gridaksma says, "I don't recall all the details but there was something about a golden fog and lands being drained."
Unaka nods.
Aemaranth glances up at the sky.
Unaka says, "Don't think I saw that one."
Unaka says, "Anyway, you might be right, it's just... not the feeling I have, for some reason."
You say, "The immortals touched where Elanthia had become stagnant and it became less stagnant."
You say, "Some places flourished whileothers died."
Unaka nods.
Aemaranth says to you, "Like our homeland."
You ask Gridaksma, "That one?"
Gridaksma nods to you.
You ask Aemaranth, "Crossing?"
Elurora chuckles.
Aemaranth says to you, "Where our two peoples come from."
Unaka says, "Okay, I should get going. Good luck with the artifacts, and finding someone to work on the Prison. Write to me if you need me."
Aemaranth winks at you.
Relay grins at you.
Tirost bows to Unaka.
Elurora nods to Unaka.
Kitosaki nods.
Mazilyn beams at Unaka!
Elurora snaps to attention and hails Unaka with a crisp hand salute.
Tirost says to Unaka, "Take care."
Mazilyn waves.
Gridaksma bows his head in acknowledgement.
Tirost smiles at Unaka.
Elurora flashes a quick grin at Unaka.
Aemaranth nods politely to Unaka.
Kitosaki snaps to attention and hails Unaka with a crisp hand salute.
Unaka waves.
Truffenyi's Prophet Unaka strides out.
* Unaka returns home from a hard day of adventuring.
Elurora says, "She makes me think of how Paladins were called before the guild."
Kitosaki says, "Certain plenty to ponder. Some progress at least happening."
Tirost says to Couri, "Thanks for teaching - and accept some tips."
Tirost smiles at Couri.
Gridaksma nods to Elurora.
Couri says, "Most welcome and nae."
Couri beams at Tirost!
Tirost laughs!
Aemaranth asks Elurora, "What do you see as the difference between Paladins now and back then?"
Tirost says, "Farewell."
You ask, "Who needs a guide back?"
Elurora says to Aemaranth, "How we become Paladins."
Aemaranth says to Elurora, "I am not familier with how that works."
Kitosaki says, "I'll just follow my nose. Smell of food usally leads me to civilization at some point."
Elurora says to Aemaranth, "Before the guild, Paladins were called by one specific Immortal. And not always one of neutral or light."
Aemaranth asks Elurora, "They were chosen to serve?"
Mazilyn carefully lifts the puppy by the scruff of its neck and then tucks it gently into the crook of her arm.
Elurora nods to Aemaranth.
Mazilyn beams!
Elurora says, "Much like Unaka has been."
Aemaranth says, "And one that I know."
Elurora says, "I should get home and feed Dog, I wish you all safe paths home."
