What started as a fun project for children, turned into a technique adopted by other artisans to add a bit of sparkle to commonly found yet drab crystals. Rather than blanket the stone haphazardly, mica is usually applied over imperfections, as though ice may spill from within. In the absence of natural flaws, the sparkly mineral powder is streaked sparingly across the surface as if an icicle was used to draw on it.
Introduced at Chris' Mass Festival 451.
