This week, Paklin started tackling a (very old!) long-standing player request -- auto-removal from transports (ferries, barges, lifts, etc)! For now, the following are functional:
This is just the start, but there will be future updates that adapt more transports to do the same. For it to work, you'll use the new TOGGLE to enable auto disembarks. If set, then whenever your ferry reaches its destination and docks, you'll be gathered up and escorted off automatically. If you're hidden or invisible, you will be revealed. You MUST be online for this to trigger -- there's no tracking to it, no 'handle on login' component. The mechs only check for and move you if you're online when it docks. If you log out on the way to one side, miss the stop, but login as it heads back to your original start point -- you will be moved to that start point. Wherever it docks while you're online is where you get disembarked. Big cheers to Paklin for working on this and finally making it a reality! We'll be back in the future with more additions to this!
