Happy Tuesday, folks!

This week, Paklin is bringing in some updates to scroll stackers to make your organizing a little easier! Before we talk about the good stuff, though, we need to talk about an update that may not be as popular.

When scrolls are generated (from combat treasure or wherever), they're given a difficulty stat. If you lack the skill to read the scroll, it feels weird that the solution is "just put it in a stacker and take it back out" to get around that. Stackers will now use the same check that reading a scroll does to see if you can overcome the scroll's difficulty rating before allowing you to place it inside. Folks from magic team asked for this while we were making the other tweaks, and it absolutely makes sense and should have been a thing from the start.

Now the cool stuff:

  • You can ADJUST your stacker to sort the spells alphabetically.
  • You can TURN TO {spellname or abbreviation} to go to a particular spell.
  • TURNing on its own will no longer skip the initial slot.
  • ^Similarly, when you reach the end and 'turn back to the beginning', it will tell you what spell is in that slot.
  • When you PUT a scroll in a stacker, it'll give you a warning message that you maybe intended to PUSH the scroll in (we see so many assists about this!).
  • A number of typos and room messaging oddities were fixed.

Big thanks to Paklin for working on these updates, and we hope they make your organizing a little easier going forward!
