Musical Enthusiast Ansara, Street Musician of Therengia, a Prydaen.
She has an angular face with an inexorable streak of splaying black veins spreading along the neck, a half-opened black rose bud with a stem that curls around one of her pointed ears, sullenly glowing cat-slitted blood-hued eyes and a narrow nose. Her black mane is long and straight with deep blood-red dyed tips, and is worn in an artfully tousled style threaded with a sleek iera vine heavy with velvet blossoms tinted the color of fresh blood. She has an oozing pattern of glistening blood ruby droplets flowing over their ghostly white fur with silvered black stripes, a broad animite tailband accented with sanguine lotusweave hugging a thick tail and a curvaceous figure.
She is tiny for a Prydaen.
Some gleaming crystalline ghouls float lazily around her right wrist, glowing with a lustrous sheen against her fur.
She has an elaborate arrangement of piercings in the flesh surrounding both of her eyes. Polished amber rings form an unbroken procession along the brow and cheekbones to create a dramatic effect that is enhanced with thin interwoven lengths of silver chain.
Her left palm has a tattoo of a delicate ghostflower slowly succumbing to decay at its very roots as a single translucent petal falls away from the rotting blossom.
She is wearing a tiny khor'vela top hat with a trio of black feathers pinned by a blood ruby, some fine blood-red ruby teardrop earrings, an ornate silver necklace set with a blushing ruby carved into the shape of a teardrop, a makeshift manacle choker, a bitterweave pack with khor'vela instrument toggles and blood ruby music notes, an elaborately wound dark red chestwrap oozing with blood, a faded duchess satin bodice soiled with rusty brown stains along the neckline, a deathfiber ritual gown shrouded in a multitude of blighted gold chains, a slender silver bracelet set with dark red ruby teardrops, a simple wedding band formed from overlapping droplets of blood-red loveglass, a romantic tutu trailing strips of shredded pink tulle, a small silver-bound spellbook case engraved with the crest of the Bard Guild, an intricate damascened steel ritual knife with a splash of blood ruby droplets and some nightmare-black deathfiber moccasins decked in loveglass and blood rubies.
Alterations
a deathfiber ritual gown shrouded in a multitude of blighted gold chains
Dull and mottled with all of the hues of rotting flesh, long chains wrap around the torso adding an hourglass shape to the cadaverous gown. Twists and tangles of blighted gold pour down the outfit, strategically following muscle patterns for a more emaciated illusion. Through the myriad of metal, glimpses of the underlying material's mottled hues of blood-red and dried ichor enhance the grotesque display of gory color that permeates the garment.

The grey wood is laden with varnish, smoothing out the rough, undigested bone chips that the carnivorous tree is known for. A blood-red band of bloodlace hugs the miniature hat while small clips secure the brim to the wearer's head. The trio of small black plumes that threaten to flutter out of the left side are tethered by the triangular blood ruby pin that gleams like freshly spilt blood on the foreboding hat.
a black diamond-rimmed khor'vela chalice inset with triangles of blood rubies
Undigested bone throughout the grey wood adds a gruesome and morbid element to this sculpted vessel. Rimmed in a triple row of black diamonds that cast eerie dark reds and midnight blues down the sides of the triangular bowl. Gemstones that glitter like drops of spilled blood in the available light form a triangle that highlights a wispy inclusion of bone in the center of each face of the goblet. The savage bone shards are smoothed out along the stem, allowing a sole place of safe contact.
an intricate damascened steel ritual knife with a splash of blood ruby droplets
A multitude of patterned metal bands curl around the wearer's tail when worn, creating an elongated series of ominous symbols that tether the blade in place. Cast throughout the metal are specks of blood rubies that glint in the light like newly spilled droplets of blood. A triangular prism formed from a single blood ruby serves as the pommel to the mottled blade. Trickles of black diamonds and metal create a smooth handle designed to safely hold the menacing double-edged, razor-sharp knife.
a bitterweave pack with khor'vela instrument toggles and blood ruby music notes
Reminiscent of unshed tears, the glossy sheen of the resilient fabric magnifies its shadowy pigmentation. Strewn playfully through the material, blood rubies glisten like freshly spilt blood in forms of distorted music notes. The grey wood of the various instrument embellishments stands out against the material, while the undigested bone particles in the carnivorous tree's wood are sculpted to embellish the keys and strings of each tiny music maker.
A bitterweave pack reads: "Enthusiasm first. Skill second."
a twilight-grey kitten with blood-red marbling modeling a tiny top hat
A splattering of blood-red along the back and tips of the ears stands out against the hues of a gloomy nightfall that swirl across the silky coat of fur. A heavily varnished khor'vela top hat rests lopsidedly over the left ear adding a subtle mischievousness to the dapper apparel. The bloodlace hatband is pinned with a basalt triangle inset with a smaller blood ruby triangle. A matching collar of pale grey bloodlace hosts a blood ruby triangle that fastens the basalt nametag labeled "Ryn."

Varying hues of mottled black with ashen grey marbling form the foundation of the unsettling footwear. Small gems reminiscent of freshly spilt blood are splattered throughout the fabric. Fluid lines of deep red loveglass stream down the sides of the fabric, the delicate lines of the metal softening the macabre symbolism of the molted material lurking beneath the sanguine embellishments.
some blood ruby rings attached to intricate crimson loveglass chains
The dark red centers of the gems complement the crimson chains to form an aesthetic like flowing rivulets of blood.

Overview
Slightly crazier than the average adventurer, this inept but enthusiastic musician made her debut in Crossing. Beginning her attempts at busking in the Empath guild, she found only mild appreciation for the insanity and melancholy that themed her songs.
Seeking more material for inspiration, she set out on the adventuring life, lute in hand.
Not long after she left the Crossing walls, Xadon spotted her and began their odd courtship. She slowly began to tolerate his presence since she couldn't seem to get rid of him and he called her pretty. Every musician needs a groupie right?
Ansara's Song List
History
Ansara grew up in a quaint Hub in the middle of nowhere. The community practiced many of the older traditions and superstitions, shared through story and song.
Before long, she was old enough to hunt and to wed. Her skill at hunting was superior to most of the males and each sought her affections. The elders determined it was time for her to settle into the Hub's matrons and care for the kits. The match was made. Like many before her, it was done without her interests in mind. She found herself shackled to the Hub, no longer free to chase prey as she found herself with kit in short order.
Longing to be out in the wild, she began to have nightmares. Visions is what the elders would call it. Death pouring out of the ground, horns and grotesque creatures flooding the Hub. She woke calmly, her words taking on an eerie musical tune as she told the elders of her dreams.
The Hub elders started praying and offering everything in sight to the Triquetra. Ansara knew that would do nothing to stop the ill omens. She sat in her tree writing songs and tales, telling her soon to be born kit about the oddities. Her kit would squirm and seem to delight in the recounting of her dreams.
Ansara sang soft, haunting melodies to her soon to spawn as she worked about the Hub. The other matrons became wary of her chanting tunes, leaving her increasingly isolated. That was when the mutterings of sorcery began.
The crops began to fail, prey sought higher grounds, and the sounds of the forest grew quiet in the coming days. Ansara found herself going deeper and deeper into the woods to collect berries and small game. It would not be until well after dark that she would approach the Hub. The watchmen called her the ghost of the glen with how often she startled them when her white fur became visible in the firelight.
