Upcoming Ammo Stacking Changes · on 12/23/2021 22:02 1911
Hi folks.

While doing some background work on ammo items to support an upcoming TT project, it became necessary to standardize ammo weights. Currently, when ammo combines in a container, the weight stat is not updated. You can end up with 1000+ pieces of ammo that combined weigh only 2 stones. This is a bit excessive.

When this update does release, all types of ammo will have a standardized weight of 2 stones per piece, and the mechanics used to stack them in containers will respect this.

Since many of you carry around big stacks of different types of ammo, we wanted to give a heads up on it so you could prepare if you need to. To be clear, you won't log in and suddenly be crushed with burden, but if a stack tries to update via SEPARATE (already happens) or when stacking inside a container, the ammo weight will be updated.

There's not a firm ETA on this release yet. It could be as early as Tuesday, or it may be a future release! However, we wanted to give you as much heads up as possible. The change is coming.
