>>1) Will the automaton reengage an attacking player if they retreat from the automaton and advance the defending player again?<< The automaton will re-engage an attacking player if they aren't already engaged with other creatures/players. The automaton checks if there are things facing its summoner and takes the summoner's place if the automaton is free from engagement. >>2) If the automaton does not reengage an attacker does the damage reduction still apply?<< It's not really a damage reduction. When it takes the summoner's place to engage attacking creatures, those creatures hit the summoner instead. The automaton has a certain amount of health that's dependent on the summoner's abilities and if it has defense upgrade. When that health hits 0, the automaton dies. >>3) Do all or any of the gems stack? For example, can I get 3 damage reduction gems or 3 duration gems and have the effect last three times as long? None of the aegis gems stack. You can only put one of the same type of upgrade in the aegis jewelry. GM Winna
