| Look: | Delicately grained planks of wood are set so closely together that they appear seamless unless carefully inspected. Lighter areas of the wood resemble puffs of smoke or pale clouds drifting against an only slightly darker grey background. Picking up on the resemblance to clouds, the crown molding has been carved into a stylized frieze of puffy clouds of various sizes, working with the natural color of the wood so that each cloud is formed from the lighter areas and contrast against the darker background. |
