The rewritten Devour spell has been released on preview in Prime. It is now a smart, heal-over-time spell, with the following changes from the Platinum preview:
- No longer has a hard cap of 5 pulses. It will keep healing as long as it has power left, albeit more slowly than before. - When the caster is healthy, the spell will linger passively for 10-40 minutes if it was cast on a fresh corpse. - Now persists through death. - Costs 3 slots. - Important bug fix: In the previous live version of Devour, material quality and level never applied the intended reduction in potency. This has been corrected. Though we've toned down the penalty, you will notice that material-fed casts are significantly weaker. GM Grejuva | |
