Facepalm command

The FACEPALM command is used to express disbelief at how stupid something just was. It was introduced by GM Naohhi.

Syntax

• FACEPALM
• FACEPALM HELP
• FACEPALM <PLAYER>
• FACEPALM <item> or <creature>

Sample Messaging

FACEPALM: You frown and shake your head in exasperation, resting your face in the palm of your hand.

[Player] frowns, shaking her head with an expression of exasperation before resting her face in the palm of her hand.

FACEPALM [PLAYER]: You blink at [Target] and shake your head in exasperation, resting your face in the palm of your hand.

[Player] blinks at you, shaking her head in exasperation before resting her face in the palm of her hand.

FACEPALM [SELF]: With a sigh, you drop your face into your cupped hands.

[Player] sighs and drops her face into her hands in defeat.

FACEPALM [ITEM]: You give your [item] an expression of exasperation before placing your face into the palm of your hand.

[Player] gives her [target] an expression of exasperation before placing her face into the palm of her hand.

Problems with Genie

Many users of the FrontEnd Genie have long had an alias which allowed them to perform a similar custom emote. To use the new verb correctly this alias must be removed. To remove the Genie alias:

1. Go to Edit, Configuration, Aliases
2. Find "facepalm" and click on it.
3. Click the REMOVE button.
4. Click the save button and then click OK.
