Description
You see Ranger Talliska Wildclaw, Courier of the Order of the White Rose, a Prydaen.
She has pointed ears and cat-slitted gold eyes. Her black mane is long and curly, and is worn in a careless, windblown arrangement. She has tawny fur with a white belly and black spots and a slender tail.
She is wearing a silver triquetra clasp, a mistwood short bow, a tooled leather arm quiver, some pitted steel-toed footwraps, some wickedly spiked knuckles, an iron-banded parry stick with brown leather straps, a crocodile-skin buckler, some copper brown gloves, a copper brown cowl, some forest green leathers, a leather weapon harness, an albredine crystal ring, a slender gold charm band bearing the crest of the Order of the White Rose, an exquisitely woven white silk rose with an emerald green stem twined around a platinum seven-pointed star, a platinum jadeite gwethdesuan, a platinum kyanite gwethdesuan, a slender platinum wedding band channel-set with oval blood-red rubies, a black firecat skin backpack with knotted gut drawstrings, some soft black suede leggings embroidered with coppery leaves, a beaded suede belt purse, a beaded spidersilk sack and a snug suede vest.
Background
Talliska is the last surviving member of Wildclaw Hub in the distant west, and migrated to Zoluren when she was only an infant. Her father Drashre and mother Chadralor died to bring her to safety in River Crossing.
Despite having migrated young, she was still raised among Prydaen for much of her early life, and thus has a rather awkward way of speaking Common, though she understands the language very well. Habit, along with several years of hermitage in the forests of Therengia, have kept her from learning to speak it more smoothly. She's become somewhat shy about this particular quirk, and is trying to correct it. Mostly, she just stays quiet.
She is engaged to Sir Saisen Diamiiele, an Elothean Paladin on a self-imposed exile from his homeland of Ilithi. She has often felt torn between her love for Saisen and her Prydaen heritage, but has gradually settled into life among the myriad people beyond the hub she was born in. Open-minded for a Prydaen, she exhibits none of the prejudice against races besides her own.
It still pains Talliska that she will never be able to biologically reproduce with her betrothed. But she still plans to bond him quietly, and continue to live in obscurity with him wherever they may roam.
Recent Events
Talliska has moved back to Zoluren and is trying to cultivate an at least somewhat more active social life (spurred in particular by the return of her longtime friend Mialeigh).
She is currently an applicant of the Order of the White Rose.
