Let's see what I'm comfortable talking about.

Risen Bondmen, or non-combat Risen, or Igors, or whatever we want to call them, fill two niches. They can be built to have some immediate benefits to the Necromancer (spying, applying some regenerative buffs), and for the Perverse among us they can be built to access some town services at the Necromancer's behalf. At the risk of being found out and destroyed in the process.

Risen construction will operate on a point-build system based on your Thanatology. The more Thana you have, the more options you can stuff into your Risen. Most, if not all, options will come at varying power levels, so there's room to wiggle around "I want it to give me X buff, but maybe for half the potency I can have X buff and have access to a cache..."

Minimum req for Risen will be 40th circle.
