| 1) They do not lose charges.
2) The numbers for the costs are, in almost all cases, way off. I'm guessing these are based off the initial release in Plat where they were given some time to "explore" the features at a lower cost, however Plat was advised after the spiders were released in Prime that the costs had been updated to the "normal" values (and the "max charges" limit was increased, too). So...don't feel bad if they're not working after 3 feedings.
