Yes, in your case it isn't going to help a lot, but it's not just because they are all close together. It's also because you are not very low level and still suffering heavy penalties to evasion.

However, when I say "Not help a lot", that assumes you are going with a basic two-defense stance with the third set to trickle. Folks who do something closer to an all-the-time triple stance (80 50 50, 60 60 60, 100 40 40, etc) will probably also benefit from this.

The goal isn't really to make it so people don't have to switch stances from time to time, although it should make three-defense setups much better for training. The goal is to make it so people don't have to stance down (ie go below the 180+ stance total) to train defenses.
