The best information that Moon Mages have available is that it's coming from the Children of Kaelstraum. Karosti is the implied author of Sever Thread, and the Children have in the past "demonstrated" teleologic sorcery before it became widely available. Karosti claimed to discover how to create it from his study of Taisgath. As it stands, though, there's no confirmation. Fresh copies of it are found or distributed through back channels and the Moon Mage Guild is trying its hardest to at least appear to crack down on it. | |
