70-75 quality is what I consider usable, because that is equivalent to store bought in most cases. I know folks would never choose to use a 75 quality sword because it has "inferior" stats, but it is completely usable.

Similarly, 70 quality herbs will still heal you up. They'll just take longer, heal for a bit less and add more to your toxicity. That may not matter as much to people using them out in the middle of nowhere in between combat breaks to sell and train survivals.

External wound healing remedies go from tier 3-5
Internal wound healing remedies go from tier 4-6
External scar healing remedies go from tier 3-6
Internal scar healing remedies go from tier 4-6

A lot of it depends on what areas you want to heal. Remedies that heal ALL of a specific wound or scar location will be +1 difficulty on average. I don't consider those something a "dabbler" should have access to. I hope to have some herb stackers available that work like dye cases that to reduce your item count. Some things better, some things worse. Old herb stackers will still exist, they just never reduced item count very effectively.

As for higher-tier healing, that contains the heal all external wound of the body, etc. Those tend to be +1 in difficulty. Then you have remedies capable of healing critical wounds for a location. Those tend to be +1 or +2 in difficulty. For example, the general purpose elixir that heals all critical internal scars at once is a Tier 10 recipe. But, sorcerous blowing off of your hands aside, how often would that be necessary? Probably the general purpose draught - Tier 8 - is what most folk would find useful.

Is this enough information for you? Old herbs will continue to work (just not be available) for a time, so you can always stock up now while we work out the balance tweaking.

Testing in Plat has been going well. I'm targeting next weekend for a likely deployment to Prime.
